Let me tell you a little bit about me... I have had a passion for dogs for as long as I can remember! Growing up with border collies and always looking after dogs for friends and family was the starting point of my love for all things dog! In 2012 I decided to take things a step further and began my studies on both Dog Training and Behaviour in order to become a certified trainer and behaviourist After an intensive initial 2 years studying, I set up my own dog training services in 2013 and have continued to help owners and their dogs since as well as continuing to further my own studies and knowledge each year through various accredited colleges, courses and dog training affiliations. As it stands I now have almost a decade of experience in my field as well as numerous certificates & diplomas and continue to develop my knowledge and accreditations further year on year At any given time my husband and I tend to have a small pack of our own! The services I offer cover dog training , puppy training, dog obedience training and behaviour support in Wishaw, Motherwell and most of the Lanarkshire based areas I primarily offer 1-2-1 private training but also have group obedience classes, group confidence walks, Puppy groups and puppy play dates throughout the year! I am a member of and a recognised instructor for the Academy of Dog Training and Behaviour, details of which can be found on the ADTB website. You'll also find my business listed on the British College of Canine Studies graduate directory As well as this I have a host of positive reviews on the Good Dog Guide website where my services have been listed for many years I continue to grow in my field now and look to continue studying for many years to come. You can never know to much! A 'Balanced' approach to modern dog training My training methods focus on positive and reward based training with all dogs including my own and truly believe this is the best way for not only the dogs but in order to strengthen the trust and bonds we have with them. This can be with food, praise or their favourite toy depending on the dog. We do need to add corrections when training to help our dogs understand what we are looking for from them. These do NOT have to inflict pain or fear and none of the methods I use will ever hurt or scare a dog! My training methods are about building trust with your dog and strengthening the bond and relationship you have. I use ways which will motivate the dog and have been found to have better long term benefits for both you and him I train my own dogs the same way I will train yours. And I'd very much like to say I am proud of my dogs as a whole and the amazing bond we share

How much do the courses cost? Dan Lee Training costs are inclusive of all accommodation, mileage and subsistence costs - therefore you pay a half day or flat fee depending on the costs incurred - example costs: Local area (Devon) - half day £280 - Full day £400 - 500 UK- full day rate £650 - 750 Courses outside the UK will incur costs to cover travel, accommodation and a flat day rate for the days of travel to and from the venue. Bespoke courses will cost a little more but that is identified at the initial discussion of your needs. Certificates All courses offered are provided with Dan Lee Training Certificates. We can arrange for courses to be delivered to accredited award body standard. All Aviation Security Courses are provided with a DfT/CAA approved certificate and training record What makes you different from all the other training companies? Dan Lee is a fully qualified trainer (Cert Ed) and is an award winning training designer. He prides himself on delivering quality training and never does 'death by powerpoint' type training. On the rare occasions that Dan Lee Training uses other trainers as associates he makes sure that they too can deliver the courses to the same standard. Why doesn't Dan Lee Training do accredited training? In our history we have been accredited by the CIEH and IOSH but have found the value that these accreditations bring does not justify the costs of setting up and maintaining the administration. Dan Lee is qualified to write and deliver all training courses. You can rest assured that the content will meet the legal requirement that you need to comply with. Why don't you do IATA Dangerous Goods by Air training? It's not that we can't - we could - but we don't agree with the prescriptive manner of how the course is required to be delivered by IATA and the UK's CAA. The IATA DG course does not allow for a qualified trainer to deliver the course in the manner that they deem appropriate. Until they do - Dan Lee Training won't put their name to their list. Remember, we don't do boring training.

Park Pharmacy Trust, a registered Educational Charity, has since its inception in 1984 been working closely with Plymouth City Council for the wider benefits of the local community. It has received National recognition for both its innovative approaches to life-long learning and as a tourist attraction for visitors to Plymouth. Its famous C J Park Pharmacy, the last remaining Victorian chemist's shop in Plymouth, established in 1864, had been a major tourist attraction in the Merchant's House Museum where it was manned by trust volunteers. There thousands of visitors could see the pharmacy, try their hand at old fashioned pill-rolling (and earn a certificate of proficiency in the art of pill rolling) and talk to the volunteer stewards on duty. A weekend event held at the Merchant's House Museum Pharmacy is Phun, attracted record numbers of visitors. The pharmacy was televised Nationally to over 8 million viewers when Park Pharmacy Trust became the joint United Kingdom winner in the Tourism and Heritage categories of the BBC's ''It's My City!'' competition. In fact, Plymouth, because of Park Pharmacy Trust, became the only winning city in the south of England. The C J Park pharmacy display is currently in store and the Merchant’s House is closed following extensive repairs to the structure of the building. Park Pharmacy Trust has ambitious plans to develop a major tourist attraction: Plymouth Heritage Health Science Exploratory (THE EXPLORATORY) in which the C J Park pharmacy display will be rebuilt. This is the way the pharmacy purchased by Mr Charles Park in 1875, looked in 1864. It was then at no. 1 Mutley plain. It is thought that Mr Park moved the pharmacy to number 23 Mutley Plain around 1879. The original shop had four carboys (big glass bottles) in the window whereas at 23 Mutley Plain there was only room for three carboys. The fourth carboy was found in the hayloft and is in the collection of Park Pharmacy Trust and will be included in the C J Park display in the Plymouth Health Science Exploratory. . In this role, Simon led the transformation of the school into a lighthouse school for Cultures of Thinking pedagogy and practice, and became a key influencer in the cultures of thinking movement in Australia. Yes, my name is Dexter Moscow! It sounds made up, but the name is on my birth certificate. It certainly would be a great stage name. Although I’ve yet to realise my childhood dream of appearing as a leading man on the silver screen, a considerable amount of my practical selling experience comes from my many years appearing in front of the camera on QVC The Shopping Channel, selling £millions of products for major technology companies and other notable retailers. In addition, for 16 years, I worked behind the camera as their Chief Guest Trainer, coaching and training guest presenters and celebrities to excel at the art of ‘selling on telly’, effectively selling to an invisible audience. This experience of creating a compelling selling proposition informs my approach to sales coaching and communication in the corporate arena. I have also been an estate agent, and my early career was in advertising, working for an agency with Mafia connections. As a speaker, I talk on several topics relating to communication, selling, influence and persuasion and present on TV to corporates at symposiums and conferences. The processes and frameworks I used when coaching others on selling on TV are the same when we seek to communicate our message. I have written a book called Stand Up and Sell that enables those who follow these tried and tested processes to be more effective in their sales and presenting activities. With so much business still being conducted online, which I call this Televisual Age, I am revising my book title to Sit Down and Zoom.  As a trained voiceover, I have also been the ‘voice of god’ at award functions. My claims to fame are having popcorn thrown at me by Julia Roberts in Notting Hill, being sworn at by Kate Winslet in Branner’s Hamlet and my life as a background artist. I also have various other anecdotes about my work with Nigella Lawson, Lulu, and others and what goes on behind the scenes at QVC.
