Understand and mitigate your own personal drivers of conflict

The Emergency Fist Aid at Work is an accredited 1 day, instructor led course in a fully equipped training room. We use a mixture of training methods such as hands on activities, role play, group discussion, games and the use of equipment / technology to cover the different learning styles of the individual. All learners will have the skills and knowledge to provide the organisation with Emergency First Aider’s that can provide treatment to their casualties in a prompt, safe and effective manner. A range of subjects are covered including:- • Responsibilities and reporting • Resuscitation and AED awareness • Burns • Assessment of the situation • Anatomy • Choking • Dealing with an unresponsive casualty • Minor injuries • Epilepsy • Basic hygiene in First Aid • Bleeding control • Shock Certification Practical assessment is ongoing by the instructor, and a three year qualification will be issued to those who satisfy the criteria. In addition, the HSE strongly recommend that all students undergo an annual refresher programme of three hours. Instructions Please can learners ensure they wear trousers and a full shoe. Learners need to be physically fit and well to undertake the activities for First Aid Training, which requires learners to carryout CPR on the floor. This is a practical workshop to help you understand more about how anxiety, perfectionism and procrastination can get in the way of getting stuff done. Whether you are a starter or into your final year after, It is timed to help you prepare for your first written assignment and set you up for the year ahead, without all the angst that can really hold you back from enjoying your college studies and life. You may feel that no one else struggles as much as you do over getting work submitted. By sharing ideas and tips together in small groups of 2 or 3, you may be surprised by how much you have in common with your fellow students and how much you can learn from each other.

Following her graduation in Entertainment Management from LIPA in 2008, she gained extensive work experience across renowned entities such as Sony BMG and Sky One, operating within the spheres of TV, music, radio, and the events industry. Her pivotal entry into a PA role came while supporting musician Eliza Doolittle. After five years, Sophie opted to move home to Liverpool and accept a contract supporting Sir Dave Brailsford of Team Sky. Once complete, Sophie received an offer for a position based in the US with an A-list musician. However, her journey led her to discover her "forever role", providing support to Steven Bartlett. Steven, the Founder and former Group CEO of Social Chain, is a multifaceted individual—a published author, podcaster, entrepreneur, and presently, the youngest-ever Dragon on BBC's Dragon's Den. This course is for therapists who have attended Day One TIP training with Kathryn and Amelia.  Walk the Walk and Talk the Talk.  How to move from trauma informed to trauma responsive.  We will look at the dangers of burn out and vicarious trauma and how to to navigate and respond to this within the systems we work in.  How do we: Stay safe Stay in our lane (and what is our lane working with emotional needs as educators and SLTs) Communicating relational work and showcasing it The language of interpersonal neurobiology Target setting for self and clients/ students Strategies to reduce imposture syndrome/ shape shifting. The course will be interactive with small group discussion and numbers are kept small to allow for this to be a safe container.
