It challenges the participants to examine their behaviours and take close looks at some of the views they have held since a very young age, e.g. this area is a &ldquo;bad&rdquo; area, because it has a high proportion of black/brown people living in it, or that young black men in tracksuits are &ldquo;thugs&rdquo;. Typically there is a tale to be told of LA planning procedures that are too little and too late, and a severe lack of confidence from all parties that the transition will be successful. We like participants to sit with the uncertainty, to reflect on the question &lsquo;why&rsquo; but without judgement of each other. Deeper reflections may span a whole range of perspectives from &lsquo;within person&rsquo; considerations, to situational or systemic possibilities. Health or emotional issues can be reflected on alongside organisational or transactional aspects of what is going on for the family.</p><p fr-original-style=" color: rgb(119, 119, 119);" style="color: rgb(119, 119, 119); font-size: 16px; box-sizing: border-box;">The better the shared understanding the better the strategy or actions which emerge from these meetings. Quality hypotheses with a close fit to reality lead to more effective implementation in the real world.</p><p fr-original-style=" color: rgb(119, 119, 119);" style="color: rgb(119, 119, 119); font-size: 16px; box-sizing: border-box;">We encourage &lsquo;loose&rsquo; thinking, a search for connections, deeper listening, an &lsquo;open mind&rsquo;, speculation and exploration without moral judgements. From this stance self-reflection as well as reflection on the situation can produce remarkable insights. Individual participants need to be kept focused and prevented from leaping to premature conclusions or to making &lsquo;helpful&rsquo; suggestions about strategy. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box;">Relationship aspects to the problem are explored. Metaphors and analogies are invited. How would a fly on the wall see your relationship? If you were alone together on a desert island, what would it be like?</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box;">Impact of previous relationships/spillage from one relationship to another are explored. Eg what situation they are reminded of? For instance, does this situation remind you of any of those angry but helpless feelings you had with your other son when he was an adolescent? This provides opportunities to reflect on how emotions rub off on other people. The parent feels really frustrated, and on reflection we can see that so does the child</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box;">System/Organisation factors (Family system/school and community systems and so on): What aspects help or hinder the problem? For instance, does the pastoral system of the local school provide space, or time and skilled personnel able to counsel this young person and work actively with their parents?</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box;">Synthesis. At this stage the Graphic facilitator summarises what they have heard. They then go on to describe linkages and patterns in what they have heard. This can be very powerful. The person doing the graphic work has been able to listen throughout the presentation process and will have been struck by strong messages, emotions and images as they have arisen. The story and meaning of what is happening in the situation may become a little clearer at this point. Typical links may be &lsquo;mirrored emotions&rsquo; strong themes such as loss and separation issues, or repeated processes such as actions triggering rejection. This step provides an excellent grounding for the next process of deepening understanding.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box;">What understandings/hypotheses/new stories can we draw out from the above? Developing hypotheses has a scientific background and psychologists have long found this a useful process when thinking about behaviour and emotions. In George Kelly&rsquo;s words &ldquo;All behaviour is an experiment&rdquo; .Staying with uncertainty and not falling into the trap of jumping prematurely onto solutions is definitely valuable in our experience. The better the understanding the &lsquo;better fit&rsquo; will be the action and strategies that emerge at the next stage of the meeting. Also this process allows for self reflection and exploration at the level of emotion and actions. The group at this stage has an opportunity to ask &lsquo;why&rsquo;, a time for deeper reflection. Hypotheses sometimes referred to as &lsquo;theories&rsquo; or simply &lsquo;understandings&rsquo; can range from reflections as to what a child or teacher is feeling inside, through family dynamics, to aspects of the system or situation that are maintaining or impacting upon the problem situation. The richer and the more varied the theories generated the sounder the likely grasp on the situation. Theories are influenced by family members&rsquo; reading, studies and experiences which will include models of behaviour, change and development. The richer and more diverse these are in the family&rsquo;s experience the more powerful the impact on behaviour and relationships. Theories might include one family member&rsquo;s need for love and attention, the impact of the loss of their father, perceived rejection from their mother, the influence of the peer group, lack of support at school, physical abuse two years ago and so forth. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<img src="https://inclusive-solutions.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/Image6.jpg" alt="We specialise in autism in mainstream schools, inclusion of students with disabilities, education psychology, autism education, community building and training on inclusion." width="540" height="317" fr-original-style="" style="cursor: pointer; padding: 0px 1px; user-select: none; position: relative; max-width: 100%; box-sizing: border-box;" fr-original-class="fr-draggable"></li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box;">What alternative strategies/interventions are open to be used? Brainstormed and recorded. &rsquo;Either/ors&rsquo; need to be avoided at this time also. This needs to be a shared session in which the family member who is presenting the concern contributes as much as anyone. Care is needed to ensure that this person is not overloaded with other people&rsquo;s strategies.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box;">The final selection of strategy or strategies from the brainstormed list is the problem presenter&rsquo;s choice. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Strategies might include: a special time for the young person, a meeting with the child&rsquo;s parents to explore how she is being managed at home and to share tactics, a home-school diary, counselling, or an agreed action plan that all are aware of, agreed sanctions and rewards and so forth. Strategies may productively involve processes of restitution and restoration, when &lsquo;sorry&rsquo; is not enough. Making it right, rather than punishments or rewards, may then becomes the focus.&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box;">First Steps<strong fr-original-style="" style="font-weight: 700; box-sizing: border-box;">.&nbsp;</strong>The problem presenter is finally asked to agree one or two first steps which they can carry out over the next 3-7 days. It can help to assign a &lsquo;coach&rsquo; who will check in with them to ensure they have carried out the action they have named. This is a time to be very specific. Steps should be small and achievable. The person is just &lsquo;making a start&rsquo;. A phone call, or making an agreement with a key other person not present at the meeting would be ideal examples.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box;">Final reflections. Sometimes referred to as a &lsquo;round of words&rsquo; help with closure for all involved. Reflections are on the process not the problem. In large families this is best done standing in a circle. In smaller groups all can remain sitting. Over the past 12 years Colin Newton and Derek Wilson have been encouraging the use of &lsquo;circle of friends&rsquo; in a wide variety of primary and secondary schools, often with very successful outcomes. Some of these are described in their books &lsquo;Circles of Friends&rsquo;, (Folens, 1999) and &lsquo;Creating Circles of Friends&rsquo; (Inclusive Solutions, 2005).</p>

<p fr-original-style=" color: rgb(119, 119, 119);" style="color: rgb(119, 119, 119); font-size: 16px; box-sizing: border-box;">A community&nbsp;<strong fr-original-style="" style="font-weight: 700; box-sizing: border-box;">circle</strong>&nbsp;is made up of participants and allies from the local community. The meeting starts with everyone sharing food and conversations. Next the group comes together in a&nbsp;<strong fr-original-style="" style="font-weight: 700; box-sizing: border-box;">circle</strong>&nbsp;so that everyone can see each other and shares what is good and new in their lives, everyone gets a turn to be listened to. &lsquo;New and Good&rsquo; breaks the habit of thinking about and acting from what&rsquo;s wrong, it is an exercise of giving and receiving attention with one another and it also provides a strong foundation of strengths from which we can think about and tackle difficulties. The group is then asked the question what do they&nbsp;<em fr-original-style="color: rgb(119, 119, 119);" style="color: rgb(119, 119, 119); box-sizing: border-box;">want</em>,&nbsp;<em fr-original-style="color: rgb(119, 119, 119);" style="color: rgb(119, 119, 119); box-sizing: border-box;">need&nbsp;</em>or&nbsp;<em fr-original-style="color: rgb(119, 119, 119);" style="color: rgb(119, 119, 119); box-sizing: border-box;">have to offer</em>.</p>

<p fr-original-style=" color: rgb(119, 119, 119);" style="color: rgb(119, 119, 119); font-size: 16px; box-sizing: border-box;">Community circles provide a great foundation or starting point from which to explore connections, build relationships, locate resources and share skills. These circles will be a particularly important resource for Brokers and the people that they work for. They provide a safe forum in which people can meet and friendships can start, a natural reservoir of people and relationships where people can be invited to offer their time and capacity.</p>

This live on-line training seminar provides an introduction for anyone who wants to learn more about the complex nature of domestic abuse. From spotting the early warning signs to the impact.  Sadly domestic abuse can be perpetrated by anyone and anyone can be a victim of domestic abuse.  It is a global societal issue and far more prevalent than many of us realise.
Latest statistics state that over £2.3 million people (aged 16 years and over) experience domestic abuse per year.
This equates to 1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men
By attending this event you will gain an
• Increased understanding of domestic abuse
• Increased ability to recognise the early signs of domestic abuse 
• A PDF on next steps to support 
This on-line training workshop will introduce you to the types of domestic abuse and the tactics employed by the perpetrator.  By the end of the session attendees will feel confident in identifying domestic abuse and steps to support.  
This training workshop will provide the first step towards understanding a many layered and complex subject.  This will provide a good overview prior to delving deeper into specific forms of domestic abuse.
This training seminar will provide a good introduction for general public, frontline workers, volunteers, employers, managers, teachers, volunteers.
CPD credits are awarded with this workshop.
Attendees will receive handouts and an attendance certificate (if required).

Chynna is the founder and CEO of Matriarch Made Development, a consulting firm that helps organizations develop high performing administrative teams and identify and address overall operating structure
and events logistics inefficiencies. From helping leaders figure out their onboarding, communication flow, event logistics and how to further develop the talents of their teams, Chynna supports leading organizations in creating a systematic approach to tackling business/events challenges and bottlenecks.
Prior to Matriarch Made, Chynna worked in the personal office of Barack and Michelle Obama as their Director of Travel and Event Operations. Her career also includes administrative roles at Disney and the White House where she served as “body woman” to Mrs. Obama during the Obama Administration.
Chynna graduated from University of Florida with a B.S. in Event Management and Political Science and a minor in Business. She currently resides in Washington, DC with her wife, Retired Naval Chief Petty Officer, Katina Hoyles.

Kate is a business owner, qualified coach, consultant, facilitator, trainer, podcaster and public speaker with a background in learning & development, employee engagement strategy, continuous improvement, communications and marketing. After 25 years working across the board in blue-chip, non-profit and civil service organisations she now provides support to businesses looking to evolve and become great places for people to work in and with. 
Having worked with a wide variety of clients from school-age students to senior executives, she has been designing and running workshops, seminars and classes in person or via web events since she left long commutes and corporate roles behind in 2014 when she created her first two businesses. Her passion is in improving working relationships between roles and functions, supporting people to discover how to be their best selves at work. She does this in the auto-motive industry, financial services, medical teams, charities, global media, retail, education systems and the arts.
When she’s not working, she and her classic car Monty Morgan can be found zipping around the English countryside.

Are you feeling exhausted, overwhelmed and stretched to your limit?  With meetings and meltdowns to manage, battles for support, the frustration of feeling isolated or misunderstood, not to mention the pressure of juggling your job too, it can It can feel like you’re running on empty; hard to find a moment to step off the hamster wheel and just breathe.
I’ve been there, and I get it!💛
After being on the brink of burnout myself, I stumbled upon simple, yet life-changing self-help and relaxation tools. These quick, effective techniques helped me rebuild my resilience, reclaim my sense of self and navigate challenges with renewed strength. The transformation was so profound that I knew I had to share it with others — and that’s how The SHARE Project was born.
What is The SHARE Project?
The SHARE Project is built on a simple principle: you need to put your own oxygen mask on first!  By nurturing yourself, you’re better equipped to support your children. Through our four-week, live online workshop series, delivered via Zoom, you’ll discover practical tools to bring more calm and happiness into your daily life.
Here’s what you can expect:
Weekly Workshops:  Each week, we’ll introduce and practice a new tool designed to fit seamlessly into your life (just a few minutes a day, I promise!). These are not your typical “luxury spa day” suggestions — because let’s face it, who has time for that?  Instead, you’ll learn sustainable, go-to strategies that you can use anytime, anywhere, to boost your wellbeing, even in the midst of chaos.  You will also receive a mid-week email of encouragement between workshops and printables to help record and track your progress.
Ongoing Support:  In each session, we’ll review your progress, fine-tune your approach, and introduce the next tool.  
Community Connection: You’ll be part of a supportive group of fellow SEN parents and carers who understand the unique challenges you face.
