Laura has been teaching Scaravelli inspired Yoga (from a somatic perspective) for almost 30 years and has recently qualified as a Somatic Movement Educator with the School for Body-Mind Centering® (500+ hours training). She teaches a form of Somatic Yoga which encourages body-mind repatterning by gently undoing unhelpful habits and allowing the natural intelligence of the body to come through. She also offers Somatic Touch and BMC® sessions. Based on the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire border, Red Robin Dog Training offers force-free one-to-one training and behaviour solutions in NG16 and surrounding areas. My training ethos is based around positively reinforcing desired behaviours without the use of aversive methods, behaviour modification using the most up to scientific research into how dogs learn, and making training fun via the use of concept training and games. I have found play to be one of the most effective ways to improve the dog-human relationship, increase confidence and to create positive association for anxious or fearful dogs. I work with all breeds, from miniature Mexican Hairless and Chihuahuas to Boerboels and Bull Terriers. Puppies from 8 weeks and rescued street dogs from abroad, and I love them all. I am fully insured and qualified and my training is always ongoing to ensure I stay up-to-date. If you are looking for basic training for your puppy or adult dog, or find yourself struggling with any behavioural issues your dog may have such as jumping up, pulling on the lead, poor recall, lead reactivity towards other dogs, people, traffic or any other triggers, noise sensitivity, any anxiety-based behaviours, hyperactivity, separation distress, resource guarding or anything else, please get in touch. I offer force-free one-to-one puppy training, basic training for adult dogs, behavioural consultations and multi-session training packages. Following the pandemic, I continue to offer video consultations as an option for those who are shielding or may just prefer this to a face-to-face session.

Blended Monkey was founded by husband and wife team, Simon and Louise Taggart, whose woodturning and pottery studios are based in a small village on the Norfolk/Cambridgeshire border, where the surroundings and changing seasons provide ample inspiration for some of the designs and ideas that can be found in their pieces. "Our Blended Monkey gardens provide ample inspiration for our work, and is the perfect setting for woodturning & pottery courses. Louise (ceramicist) - I studied at the Falmouth School of Art & Design and I am interested in various art forms, design and applied arts. Simon (woodturner) - I have been teaching woodturning for many years and I love working with wood & exploring its versatility." - Louise & Simon They offer half- and full-day 1-2-1 or pairs experiences, including their unique "2 Crafts in 1 Day" workshops where the students gets to explore woodturning in the morning and then pottery in the afternoon.  All workshops include refreshments; the full-day workshops also provide lunch - catering to all requirements and allergies.   Simon and Louise are keen supporters of and fundraisers for the Mind charity, and the past few years have seen Simon and Louise focus their efforts on offering creative therapy workshops to provide rehabilitation and therapy for people of all ages who are suffering with brain trauma, strokes, Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. After seeing so many families, therapists, and schools/centers having such a hard time with children and adults struggling with meltdowns, extreme and explosive behaviors, and high anxiety, it really hit me how little help there was for these kinds of challenges and crises. Moreover, what little help there is usually approaches the issue from a deeply misguided place. That is why I, along with my longtime colleague and friend Raun K. Kaufman, developed the ACT (Autism Crisis Turnaround) protocol. Having pioneered the concept of Neuro-Crashes, the ACT protocol solves crises by addressing the underlying causes instead of trying to stamp out the symptoms (which only makes things worse).
