Founded in 1999 in the USA, the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy inc (ICD) is an international, not-for-profit, non-governmental organization with headquarters in the USA and in Germany. Philosophy The ICD understands that in an increasingly globalized world, in which people are able to travel and exchange information faster than ever before, the globe is becoming more integrated and there is a growing interdependency between nations, communities and individuals. As a result, successful intercultural interaction will undoubtedly become a major challenge for international relations in the 21st century. In this regard, the ICD believes that inter- and intra- cultural relations can be strengthened and maintained through constant and on-going dialogue and exchange. The session is run outside with horses no classrooms or talking based therapy.  This workshop is designed to improve your Well-being in a natural, supportive and calming environment whilst in the presence of horses. It is ideal for anyone struggling to manage stress and anxiety in their lives, and/or who would like to take stock of things and find a way forward in life. There is time to connect with others or to find peace by yourself, talk or don't talk, everyone is treated as an individual. Horses have a therapeutic and calming effect on people and have the ability to see the real person, giving them instant and honest feedback. You will be able to learn and practice key skills and positive coping strategies, learning from the horse's behaviour, which in turn will help you manage and self- regulate your emotions, feelings and behaviours.

I tend to think of myself working with the whole person rather than with problems or issues but I have experience in supporting people with a variety of challenges, for example: Recovery from trauma (including childhood trauma), bereavement and loss, transitions, limiting beliefs, addiction and compulsive behaviour, depression, anxiety, relationship challenges (including toxic relationships), persisting pain, ADHD, OCD, problems with sleep and spiritual issues. Getting ‘back on track’ and/or finding the way forward that feels right for you. Developing a greater sense of peace, ease, well-being and resilience. Cultivating a harmonious relationship with oneself and arising thoughts, feelings and emotions. Learning to listen to and trust intuition and discern between conflicting inner voices. Developing trust in oneself and in life. I aim to create a relationship that supports people to connect to themselves, their wholeness and the path that is right for them, as a unique individual. I value and respect diversity. I work with individuals and with groups. I work in person and online.

VWe might think we are "ordering up" more money, a happy, healthy relationship, peace with our family members, and being able to stick to a healthy diet..but unless thať's what showing up, then something is probably getting lost in translation.
