Welcome to Louise Anne Designs!   I am Louise and I began my journey into Silver Metal clay whilst running a pottery studio and soon became hooked! The magic of turning a piece of clay into a solid piece of Hallmark Silver never fails to amaze me and I love sharing this with my students and helping them create a lovely piece of jewellery that they can wear proudly home makes my job the best. I hold a Higher Diploma in Silver Metal Clay and am a senior metal clay instructor and glass teacher. I have been teaching for over ten years running classes from my studio in Market Bosworth and many jewellery schools and galleries all around the Midlands area. I am a member of The Guild of Jewellers and am on the education committee of the alliance of metal clay. I also hold a Gold student choice award. One of my proudest moments was visiting Tokyo and seeing one of my pieces displayed in the Silver Accessories Exhibition. the craft loft

My name is Alison Mayston, I run a small craft business called The Craft Loft which I set up 7 years ago with the help of The Prince’s Trust. Through my business I sell and teach a wide range of crafts including Fused Glass, Silver Clay, Polymer Clay and Zentangle drawing.  I also stock a range of kits that are a workshop in a bag with all the materials and instructions needed to complete something unique. The workshops provide people with a taster session for them to learn something new, and they are a great way to sit and relax and not think about all the stress of our busy everyday life.  They are an introduction to discover all a about what a  new craft has to offer. The ethos of the Craft Loft is to unlock your creative side and turn ideas into reality. Our wonderfull countryside location offers the perfect setting for the whole art therapy experience, learn something new and get away from the hum drum of a busy life. There is no minimum limit to my workshops as sometimes people just need some space.  I am happy to come out to a group setting and looking for any opportunities to set up  regular Craft Group sessions.  I am a WI Speaker and am more than ahppy to do a zoom session. Bespoke seesions such as mother and daughter sessions and hen parties are a great way to enjoy craft together.

I'm Grainne, I'm a mum of three living in Poole, Dorset on the south coast of the UK. All of my jewellery is created in my little garden studio, its my little oasis and is often a place of creative chaos but I love it and feel very lucky to have it. I work mainly in fine silver (silver clay) and sterling silver but also love to use gold and semi precious stones when possible, I'm happy to work on special commissions but also have some wonderful ready made jewellery available which you can see here in my online shop. Everything is handmade by me! I also specialise in keepsake jewellery setting your child or loved ones footprints or fingerprints into solid silver. These pieces make a wonderful everlasting keepsakes that will be treasured forever and are particularly popular with mums. Teaching workshops is another passion of mine, I offer a wide range of beginners Silver Clay Jewellery making classes and one day workshops at various venues throughout Dorset. Nestled on the side of the hill in Canford Cliffs, with wide stretching views over Brownsea island, Poole Harbour and the Purbecks, Compton Acres boasts 10 acres of grade 2 listed gardens which offers the perfect setting for creativity and inspiration. Harbour View Studio sits within the gardens, so it's the perfect place to meet new people whilst immersing yourself in one of our many workshops.

The Little Silver Kiln is an eco-friendly jewellery brand, with sustainability at its core from the very beginning. Founded in 2019 by Applied Artist Carley with the mission to create an ethical jewellery brand. Each piece of jewellery is made of recycled solid sterling silver and 9ct gold. Every order is handmade individually by our little team in Hartlepool using traditional silversmithing techniques and eco-conscious methods.

The Romney Marsh Community created The Marsh Mosaics – a series of 14 beautiful new artworks, capturing the Marsh Churches and celebrating the unique heritage and wildlife of our area. Part of the Fifth Continent Landscape Partnership Scheme and funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the project involved 391 local participants aged 5 – 90, all guided by our very own Yolanda Houston. We want to thank all volunteers, our partners and for the generous support of The Romney Marsh Historic Churches Trust. Have a look at the video on the left as Yolanda and the project were featured on BBC Southeast recently.

The ultimate curated jewellery-making experiences! Join us and book our upcoming jewellery craft classes run by Kristina Smith founder of Ark Jewellery. The classes are varied in cost and would suit all ages and abilities.   We have polymer clay classes to create colourful jewellery that can be created as a gift or a special event for friends and family.  Tribal jewellery-making workshop including the history of such jewellery, learning leather braiding and decorating with different beads.  Ring-making class to design and create a ring learning wax carving and sizing, the finished piece will be cast in silver and polished by us, you will receive your treasure in a branded gift box.  All these events are suitable for individual or group bookings, celebrations, birthdays and corporate events, with a glass of bubbly provided if desired!

With dedicated creative zones and a small craft shop, there’s something for everyone at Loudwater.
