I am a registered member of the BACP and have over 20 years experience working as a Counsellor and therapist, specialising in addiction, mental health and dual diagnosis. My Personal Story I was born in East London, England in 1963. I live in Buckinghamshire England, working with clients globally. I am the proud mother of two adult children and four grandchildren. I grew up in a family who endured and suffered poor mental health, narcissistic abuse, and addiction issues. As a child and young adult, I battled with chronic depression, fear, and anxiety. In my 20’s I went into long term personal psychotherapy and group therapy. This was the catalyst for me in becoming a therapist. Though personal development, increased self-awareness, and behavioural change I was able to turn my life around and began to live a healthier and more fulfilling life. This personal work gave me the desire and passion to help others face their fears and abuse issues while healing and developing self-awareness. My intention and focus are to help and enable client’s live life to their full potential and become the best version of themselves.

Hi I'm Katie, the face behind Sealy MacWheely. I am a passionate spinner, knitter and lover of all things bright and colourful! Sealy MacWheely began with very humble beginnings and came into being initially whilst I was a student to raise money for the brilliant charity, Childreach International, with whom I trekked through the Andes of Peru in the summer of 2013. Once the trek to the summit of Machu Picchu was complete I simply couldn't let go of my wee business and after graduating and moving down to the outskirts of the wonderful city of Glasgow I refreshed and rebranded and began the daunting task of vending at local craft markets. It didn't take long for my business to outgrow itself and soon I was driving across the country to larger yarn and fibre festivals and events and with a little hesitation and a lot of excitement I eventually quit my regular job and took up Sealy MacWheely full time. This of course led me to my wee Yarn & Fibre Shop which would never have existed had it not been for the incredible support of our amazing yarn community. With the help of a successful Kickstarter campaign in the autumn of 2018 I was able to move into my beautiful wee shop in Kirkintilloch where I could focus all my creative energy into sharing my love of fluff and colour! I am also passionate about ecology and the environmental impact of my business has been factored into every decision I make. Both the shop and my home where I do my dyeing are powered by 100% renewable energy and I use absolutely no single use plastics in my branded products. I am proud to announce that Sealy MacWheely has recently teamed up with Ecologi, meaning that for every purchase made both in the shop and online a tree will be planted in an effort to combat the climate emergency that our planet currently faces. Although the Covid 19 pandemic has been a bumpy ride the shop has recently moved to a new premises with an in-situ dye studio and I have absolutely no intention of giving up! In fact I have so many exciting adventures lined up for the next year that I can't wait to share with you so keep your eyes peeled!

The Steam Workshop was formed in 2013 by Simon, or should I say,..... me,.... who having spent the previous 10 years building his Chiropractic clinic businesses in the Chester area was keen to start a new business centered around his lifelong hobby and passion for model engineering and steam. Together with my friend John, (who at that time was working as a tool-maker pattern -maker), we bought a tired 3" scale Plastow Burrell traction engine. The intention was to re-build the model as a fun project and then to sell it on at a profit to see if a workshop business centered around model engineering could be made viable. John was also re-building a 5" gauge BR Britannia for a friend at the same time, and so those two re-builds (SW Rebuilds number 1 & 2) really set the foundations for what the company has since grown into. I've been playing trains from an early age. My grandad, Geoff Nicholson was well known in model engineering and steam circles, and familiar to many for his annual appointment at the Midlands ME exhibition where he would demonstrate 'dome bashing' and sheet metal work to the visitors in the workshop corner. Geoff was a lifelong and prolific model engineer, and I spent a lot of time both in his workshop and putting thousands of miles on his locos while he drank tea and chatted to everyone!

My Name is Monika Bammi and I am the proud owner of this business. Since I was a child I have always had a passion for helping people, I would help the kids in the street and elderly people where I lived and then when I grew up and married I studied and practised Reiki on people with the hope and prayer that the Universe would work its unimaginable power through me for the good of all. I studied reiki in India as well as in the U.K. over twenty years ago. Fast forward to present day and I’m now in a profession that does exactly what I have always hoped for. I have been blessed with the opportunity to pass on the healing and my life experience in helping others, to overcome their problems and issues and find the work-life balance that we have been searching for years. My Reiki and healing centre is based in Saks within the David Lloyd leisure centre in Moortown, Leeds. Who We Are Enable (Sheffield) is a charity based training organisation for people with disabilities. Our aim is to offer a quality care and training opportunities to meet their individual needs. Our training areas deliver themed subjects and topics relevant to suit our learner’s abilities and skills. First opening for business in 1994, with the intention to make a difference to the lives of people with disabilities in Sheffield. From the offset we have always involved our learners in the decision making process, and this is, we believe, the key to our success. Enable (Sheffield) has grown to become a well established and renown training provider for disabled adults in Sheffield, but began life in very humble beginnings. Founder Alan Finchett rented a room in a local school, for disabled adults from the area to use, initially repairing and recycling toys and bikes but gradually more activities were added to the schedules. Within a year, with more learners attending, space was getting tight so it was soon time to move to bigger premises. Skip along 8 years and demand was so great for places that work started on our purpose built building. Exactly 10 years after starting, Enable was ready to move into their new home. The centre has been designed specifically to meet the demands of disabled people, offering a bright, spacious learning place for all.

The kitchen is the root of it all, serving a daily menu of breakfasts and lunches that are equal parts healthy and indulgent. From daily stews and sandwiches, to cakes and mac 'n cheese, we love feeding people and creating fresh salads and smoothies that put a smile on your face and nourishment in your body. As part of the holistic experience, we built a space upstairs that is calm, nurturing, and safe; this space is the Beetroot Sauvage Wellness Centre, offering a variety of yoga classes and therapies. All classes focus on gentle movement that not only stretch and relax the body, but allow you to feel into it, explore and perform self-enquiry into your emotional and spiritual needs. A space to rest and focus inward, to thank the body, and to draw close attention to healing. Along with a weekly schedule of classes, we have a variety of therapists, whose knowledge of healing the body is rooted in their own journey, training and experience. They blend sensitivity and magic to create a safe space that allows you to honour your needs and embrace rejuvenation with full intention. In addition to our focus on the kitchen and the body, we have our little slice of heaven, our city sanctuary garden: a rustic space that you can dance in, eat in, laugh in, or bring plants and garden in. As often as possible we have musicians playing live music on Sundays and we thoroughly encourage dancing if you feel so inspired. We do!

Participants range from mild to severe physical disabilities and from mild to profound and multiple learning disabilities, including dual sensory impairment and autistic spectrum. REBOUND THERAPY IS used to facilitate movement, promote balance, promote an increase or decrease in muscle tone, promote relaxation, promote sensory integration, improve fitness and exercise tolerance, and to improve communication skills. OF Rebound Therapy form the basis of all gymnastic movement and are therefore a logical and advisable starting point for trampoline coach training – even for those who have no intention of teaching people with disabilities. WHO WE ARE British Home Tutors (BHT) is a collegiate group of around 60 school teachers who work or have worked at independent schools in the London area such as Westminster, St Paul’s, Latymer, Eton, Harrow, UCS, Highgate, Bute House and other top performing English private schools. We are a small organisation who have been operating in central London for almost 20 years. Our intention is to remain small so that we can retain strong quality control over what we provide. This means that at certain times of the academic year, demand exceeds supply for our services. Our unique selling point is the fact that we are classroom teachers who provide home tuition in our spare time e.g. evenings after school, at weekends and during the holidays.
