We are ambitious in our goals and the way in which we help those affected by domestic abuse. To tackle the root cause of domestic abuse we work directly with individuals who are being abusive. We make it our mission and our focus to identify the complexities behind violent, coercive and controlling behaviour to end the cycle of domestic abuse and reduce repeat victimisation. Too often the value of a perpetrator led approach is overlooked in favour of victim services due to the lack of evidence and lack of funding. Our decades of experience working with perpetrators, and subsequent results, has reinforced the belief that people can change. We have access to, and intelligence on, perpetrators outside of criminal justice that no other agencies have, enabling us to measure success rates as well being the first to intervene to ensure victim safety. We know that responding to domestic abuse is a challenge across all frontline services and we can’t do this alone. We work with a range of stakeholders across the voluntary and statutory sector to deliver what we know works. We are fortunate to have excellent partnerships with those sharing our passion to make a difference, no matter how hard it seems. We strongly believe the current criminal justice response to offenders needs reviewing. If we are to address the vulnerabilities associated with offending , and ultimately reduce offence rates, it requires a significant shake up. To that end we are not afraid to test new approaches evident in our innovative criminal justice interventions and the programmes we offer young adult offenders to consider their choices. We are currently exploring a trauma informed response to working with females in the criminal justice system.

Collectively we have trialled many commercial products during this process and although comprehensive, many are not suitable for everyone. By pooling our knowledge and analysing ongoing feedback from students, we believe we have developed user friendly training programmes that will greatly improve your chances of passing theory tests first time. Passing your driving test will give you a great deal of independence. It will also open the door to greater career opportunities. There are numerous avenues you can take to achieve your ultimate goal and we would like to help you along the way. Ruth Cooper-Dickson is an accredited trauma-informed thrivership and wellbeing coach, and a certified breathwork leader.  She is an experienced positive psychology practitioner specialising in post-traumatic growth.  Ruth integrates breathwork into her coaching, as well as running transformational breathwork classes. Ruth is focused on helping those who have experienced adverse life situations and difficulties to thrive.  Ruth has her own lived experience of trauma, burnout and mental-ill health diagnosis’ moving through her own recovery to healing journey.  Ruth’s journey prompted her to serve others offering individuals, a safe and sometimes challenging space to focus on what they need to unlock and grow to thrive. Ruth holds an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology, coupled with accreditation as an EMCC Coaching Practitioner.  Ruth is also a qualified Mental Health First Aid Instructor.  Her academic research sits within the coaching sphere and how it can facilitate the outcome of post-traumatic growth, a topic she speaks and writes about in the media.

Hi, I'm Loren Snow: an autism trainer based in Bristol. I’ve spent the past decade studying mental health, psychology, relationships, identity, and just about anything to do with why we humans think and act the way we do. I believe that we're all human, and make mistakes, fumble, fall, laugh, love - and despite our differences, we all share this same connection. I'm a strong believer in having the courage to be open and honest and that our truth and vulnerability can be powerful forces in showing us how connected we really are. In my early-twenties I was diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, and OCD. For me, these were revelations, and all the strange ways I behaved started to make sense. But why in my twenties... surely someone should have noticed or said something?!? As I came to learn more about autism I soon realised that my experience was all too common. The reality is there are many complicated things around autism, such as echolalia, alexithymia, and proprioception; there are many misconceptions in the media, such as autistic people lacking empathy; and there are many mis/un-diagnosed autistic adults out there like I used to be. This made me decide that I should explain these things so others wouldn't have to struggle as I did. I've spoken on podcasts, radio, to large and small crowds. My YouTube videos have been watched by tens of thousands! I've taught thousands of parents of autistic and ADHD children and teach regular courses to parents and autistic people. I see many businesses confused about how to help, parents lost on what to believe, and autistic people struggling to understand themselves. So what better place to learn about autism than directly from an autistic person like myself!

Rescue 3 courses are also compliant with relevant competencies and standards for rescue agencies and technicians as laid down by organisations such as the UK Chief Fire Officers Association/Defra Flood Rescue National Enhancement Project and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). 

Our programme of courses has been carefully designed to meet the training and development needs of the safety and technical rescue sectors, focusing primarily on water, rope, confined space and inland boat rescue. We are continually developing our training programme and are able to design and deliver bespoke courses to meet your training needs. All training is delivered by Rescue 3 Certified Instructors and Instructor Trainers who have unique areas of expertise, such as Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Paramedics and Mountain Rescue. Through this technical expertise and continued professional development our delivery team is one of the most experienced and knowledgeable within the UK.
