I have been working as a professional fitness coach in and around Nottingham for many years. In that time I have taught within the community and worked with a wide variety of people to enhance their health, fitness and wellbeing. My background is sport and fitness based having achieved a BSc (hons) Sport Science and Administration Degree. Since graduating I have taken on many coaching roles within the fitness industry to help develop and inspire those around me. I have run FitKid sessions for children as well as RSA Exercise To Music Courses for aspiring teachers, worked as a lecturer in local colleges and of course run fitness classes ranging from Circuits and Body Pump to Yoga and Step. I bring this vast experience to my current classes along with a passion to help people be the best they can be and have fun along the way. I have encouraged many people as they start on their fitness journey and motivated them to continue on their chosen path. I love my job, it’s great fun, always interesting and so rewarding… and that’s what I want for my participants. At EarthCraftuk we have over 12 years experience delivering a variety of nature based programmes including: Forest School Leader Training, Woodland Skills Continued Professional Development Workshops, school visits, youth accredited engagement programmes and experiential Forest School programmes; witnessing first-hand the transformational effects experiences in the natural world can have on the physical and mental health and wellbeing of all participants, and the fulfilling career paths it can often open up for adult participants. At a time when we on average spend 90% of our time indoors, our work at Earthcraftuk is driven by the evidenced impact of being in nature. Green spaces promote physical activity, social interaction, exposure to sunlight and reduced pollution, which all boost health in various ways, including reduced levels of stress and anxiety, aided sleep and a feeling of connectedness with the world, and one another. We have trained over 400 participants on Forest School qualification programmes; worked with a number of community groups; supported school and youth experiential and accredited programmes and also developed a Campfire Management Award for Kent County Council and now also working with Veterans on our Health & Wellbeing programme called Veteran Trees We are very grateful to use stunning private woodland owned by the Dawes family of Mount Ephraim Gardens – a philanthropic family who support our mission.

We are an online tutoring agency founded in 2020, specialising in connecting tutors who are interesting in teaching tailored lessons online, to students wanting to grow their academic skills. We are registered and based in the UK, but work internationally to connect English speaking tutors with domestic and international students, with a majority of our core business specialising with Chinese students. Age ranges for students can vary from 4 years old to mature students, with tailored lessons being from early foundation English, Mathematics or Science, to GCSE and University academic tuition, for example preparation for the Cambridge or IELTS exams. As our students, and often their parents, expect well prepared and taught online lessons, we aim to work with experienced and qualified tutors. This relates strongly to the quality of the teaching outcome for the student, but also for the continuing success for the tutor. The minimum academic requirements for a tutor interested in joining Meet My Tutors, are a bachelor's degree and more than 2 years of teaching experience, or tutors with internationally recognized language teaching qualifications such as TEFL, TESOL or QTS, and PGCE licenses. We aim to bring quality tuition to online students, and connect tutors with rewarding teaching opportunities, while continuing to grow our business, features and support for our students and tutors.

Peak Upholstery and furnishings is run and managed by Angie Britton, on the outskirts of the small town of Matlock, in Derbyshire. Angie has been making bespoke (made to order) soft furnishings and loose covers since the late '80's and upholstery since the mid '90's. She has professional qualifications in upholstery and loose cover making plus teaching qualifications and plenty of experience of teaching adults in these subjects. As a teacher she feels strongly that when you are learning something new it is important to undertake a project that you can complete on the course and one that is not beyond your level of skill - it is no use deciding to make a loose cover, if you have never sewn anything since you left school! It is also important to return home with your newly learnt skills and continue to use them. Try to make sure that on your return home there are similar projects waiting to be undertaken. The courses are aimed at students of all skill levels, from those wanting to start their own business, to those just wanting to improve the quality of what they make in their own home and from those who have never sewn at all, to those who are already accomplished but want to extend their knowledge.
