Consortium Trust is a growing and aspirational Trust and are proud of every part of our organisation.  While we started our journey as specialising in small rural primary schools, a core aim that we still hold, we have sustainably expanded to also include medium size suburban primary schools, private nursery provision, large special schools, an unregulated Alternative Provision offer and specialist resource bases.  Our school scouting provision at primary will soon be joined by Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme Operating status for our secondary and post-16 students, demonstrating our commitment to a broad, balanced curriculum and outdoor learning. Ethics, Responsibility and Sustainability The Ethics, Responsibility and Sustainability Hub (ERShub) was created within the Luiss Business School and the Department of Business and Management with the aim of enhancing the themes of ethics, responsibility and sustainability in management education and in action economy more generally. ERShub promotes the idea that an ethical, responsible and sustainable approach to doing business is instrumental in obtaining important economic results in a long-term perspective and allows for a better interpretation of the dynamics of the contemporary world and the global challenges that characterize it.

Established in 1987 by Philip Pinel, Storage Equipment Safety Service Ltd (SESS) is the only completely independent, professional, Rack Safety Inspection Company covering the UK, Ireland and Europe. We specialise solely in the consideration of Safety and therefore provide a unique service; each of our rack safety inspectors, throughout our network, has many year’s experience in the storage equipment industry and all our rack safety inspections are carried out in accordance with BS EN 15635:2008. SESS are respected members of the Storage Equipment Manufacturer’s Association (SEMA) and have individual membership of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). Since September 1990 SESS have held the quality standards, formerly BS 5750 Part 2, now ISO 9001:2015 Certificate No FS 10668 and have been successfully re-assessed since. SESS is the only totally independent company in the UK, Ireland and Europe providing rack safety inspections. We have a wide range of clients that include many blue chip companies. The company continues to grow and expand throughout these areas. Rack Safety Inspections are covered by legislation in the UK under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 and the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999. My background in leadership development, occupational psychology, executive coaching, organization development and neuroscience gives me the skills and experience to help any client in any industry to maximise their potential for performance. I work with a small number of experienced associates, whom I’ve known for several years. I have self-funded all the qualifications I need to be able to offer a professional and reliable service. These are listed in the right-hand column. My professional development is continuing as I work towards Chartered Coaching Psychologist status. My professional career includes 9 years as a commissioned officer in the British Army, reaching the rank of major by 30 years old and fulfilling roles as an HR Director/Company Secretary of an infantry battalion (1st Battalion The Green Howards) on operations in Northern Ireland and Bosnia-Herzegovina. I led the first-ever British Army expedition to Lake Baikal, the World’s largest freshwater lake, in Siberia, Russia in 1995, lasting 3 months. After leaving the Forces, I held operations management roles in Ernst & Young, Cap Gemini and Accenture, before working for a number of boutique psychology consultancies, including Chimp Management, a company closely involved with various Team GB Olympic sports including cycling, swimming, taekwondo and canoeing. I am supervised by an EMCC and ICF-accredited supervisor. I am also a qualified Mental Health First Aider, which compliments my skills workshops on managing stress and building resilience. For my own wellbeing, I enjoy running, hill walking and real ale, occasionally combining all three by taking part in mountain marathons followed by a well-earned break in a local pub to refuel and recover. I enjoy reading history and biographies (as well as psychology, it goes without saying!), and I try to keep my German and Russian above the level of embarrassed British tourist asking for directions to the beach.

I started my career in HR, working my way up from HR Administrator to partnering with senior leaders to support organisational change and growth. I loved the variety of HR but the best bit for me was having great one to one conversations, asking insightful questions to allow people the time and space to really think - and seeing them grow as a result. I’m very privileged that I can now focus on this as a career as a Coach. I’ve worked in a variety of industries, including Defense, Aviation and Technology but the part of my job that I always loved was having 1:1 purposeful conversations, that helped the person solve a problem for themselves or see something in a new way. My first experience of being coached was early on in my career where I was able to discover insights and a level of self-awareness that I still reflect on today. I’ve since had coaching sessions at key points in my career when I’ve felt stuck and am a huge advocate of the transformation it can bring. I love seeing the ‘a-ha’ moments that a coaching conversation brings to help people to move forward. I’m excited to meet future clients to explore your story and help you with your own transformation. My Qualifications I graduated from the University of West of England (UWE) with a 2:1 in Business Studies. I then went onto to study for a Diploma in Human Resource Management, also at UWE. In 2019 I completed an Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Fundamentals of Coaching and Mentoring, and am currently studying an ILM level 7 Executive & Senior Level Coaching with In Good Company.
