THROUGH CROSS-CULTURE AND CROSS-DISCIPLINE COLLABORATIONS AND EXPLORATIONS, IMMUTO IMMERSES THE AUDIENCE IN SENSORY SPACES AND LAYERED NARRATIVES THAT CAN CHANGE HOW PEOPLE FEEL, THINK AND ACT - FOR CULTURAL, URBAN AND BRAND ENVIRONMENTS. -- Founder and artistic director of Immuto, Francesca Lando is a visual artist. She creates immersive installations, often inspired by the intersections of science and spirituality and developed through interdisciplinary collaborations. Her fascination with the transformational power of spaces and embodied knowledge is intertwined with the storytelling experience gathered in the marketing world. Her projects play with our senses and sense of self to tell stories that cannot be told with words alone, in a long term research on the themes of identity and union. Art works so far include: Invisible Labyrinth 2021, an installation and video choreography for Spazio Leonardo in collaboration with UNA gallery; Once Upon Us 2019, a cross-disciplinary installation, workshop and debate in collaboration with Queen Mary University and London Festival of Architecture; Light of the Forest 2018-2019, an immersive and sensory installation selected for Art Fair Finland 2019.

We have been a volunteer run library since 2011 when we were threatened with closure. Thanks to the support of Eco Communities CIC we have remained open with the help of a few of our local residents. We are part of Lewisham Libraries network and provide a full range of library resources in a welcoming, inclusive space for community activities. We regularly host events and offer our spaces for activities or events such as craft workshops for children and adults, book launches, recitals, and readings. Revenues generated from renting help to support our community activities and help us maintain our beautiful building.

LPF Kiddies Club is a multi-award winning, non-profit, out of school club based in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, that works with African and Caribbean children aged 5 to 14 years old who live in the Abbey Wood and Thamesmead areas, and their families. We work to support families of children living in the Boroughs of Greenwich and Bexley. Our school holiday club offers a wide range of fun and engaging workshops, activities, outings and day trips for children to participate in during the school holidays in safe environments where they are able to have fun and make new friends whilst developing and learning new skills. We create and deliver socially, culturally and educationally enriching projects, programs, workshops and community events for the benefit of the community as a whole via LPF Kiddies Club’s; Out of School club, STEM Heroes Science Club, Art, history and Culture club, and our Summer School. Our aim is to develop and enhance the potential, skills and talents of the young children we work with so that they may become role models and future leaders by equipping them and their families with the knowledge, skills social capital needed to raise their attainment levels, break social immobility and improve their life chances through education and personal development.

Clean Break uses theatre to keep the subject of women in prison on the cultural radar, helping to reveal the damage caused by the criminal justice system. Through our unique work, we raise difficult questions, inspire debate, and help to effect profound and positive change in the lives of women with experience of the criminal justice system. Since 1979, Clean Break has been the only women’s theatre company of its kind, and we continue to inspire playwrights and captivate audiences with our ground-breaking plays on the complex theme of women and criminalisation. Through theatre workshops and projects in prisons and in the community which build confidence, resilience and wellbeing, we transform the lives of women who have experienced the criminal justice system or who are at risk of entering it due to the challenges they are facing, such as mental health or drug use issues, which place them in circumstances that make interaction with the criminal justice system difficult to avoid. Our Members Programme is available to women aged 18 and above. The Programme offers a range of workshops and performance opportunities led by esteemed female theatre artists, underpinned by comprehensive support. Clean Break’s women-only identity is crucial to our rationale. The treatment of women by the criminal justice system is one of the clearest demonstrations that our society is still unequal and that women are judged by different standards to men. Our vision is of a society where women can realise their full potential, free from criminalisation, and we believe that theatre enables women to challenge their oppression by society in general and by the criminal justice system in particular.

FOUNDED IN 2008, CENTRAL FILM SCHOOL HAS PROVIDED STUDENTS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD WITH THE TOOLS NEEDED TO BECOME PROFESSIONALS IN THE FILM INDUSTRY. Through our BA (Hons), MA and Short Courses, we give students a grounding in all aspects of filmmaking, including both fiction and factual disciplines. Our approach is practical, aided by our small class sizes, student-centred approach to teaching & learning, and the school’s ethos and community atmosphere. The school constantly develops its programmes, and methodology to ensure students are familiar with the most up-to-date professional practices. We aim to give independent voices the skills and knowledge needed to tell their stories through film.

I’m the creator of Diamond Minds, helping people like you breakthrough your blocks by using imaginative journaling and coaching. I used journaling during the stressful periods in my life – moving countries, moving homes, relationship breakdown. Now I use it for creative thinking, gathering insights, renewing motivation and strengths-finding! I love working with individuals and organisations brimming with ideas, hungry for growth, with creative sparks and love for their work popping from the moment they wake up! And yet, there is something getting in their way. That’s where I come in. I help clients move from block to breakthrough using creative approaches of journaling and coaching. I am creative and enthusiastic – and grounded and practical. In journaling I invoke imagination and play as, often, writing from “I” can be tiring. What is needed to jolt us out of our habitual or negative thinking are creative prompts. I always thought the world didn’t end at the end of my street! Growing up on the tiny island of Guernsey, I felt the pull of the other side, beyond St Peter Port Harbour! And stepping out, I… …..spent about a decade working overseas – Russia mostly, in Moscow and Ekaterinburg. I also lived in the Czech Republic, Japan, Italy, France and Germany. I went on many work trips to Ukraine, Romania and Bulgaria for human rights organisations. ……I co-founded and ran a number of companies. Raise Your Game, a social enterprise which supported the young unemployed start their own businesses in London, and coached young students in pupil referral units and youth offending. Even earlier, I co-founded Communicating Cultures which worked in Russia on an ethnic minorities and the media project with partners the BBC Training School in Ekaterinburg and the Interethnic Cooperation Centre which is still going strong!
