The SUD training, delivered through a combination of classroom and on-cycle sessions on the same day, is accredited by Driver CPC & FORS and fully aligned with the requirements of: - Work Related Road Risk (WRRR) - Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) Silver level - Construction Logistics and Community Safety (CLOCS) Standard Theoretical Content: - The evolving urban streetscape - Sharing the road safely with vulnerable road users - Defensive driving techniques and understanding vehicle safety equipment and its maintenance Practical Content: - Exchanging places, driver attitude, and perception - Introduction to active travel, driver fitness, and health - Hazard recognition: understanding the challenges faced by vulnerable road users This course, approved by licensed training providers for the Driver CPC, runs for seven hours in compliance with periodic training regulations.
