Yoga has been a stable thread from my late teens all the way into motherhood,
from cities to mountains and oceans and has always provided a doorway to local
communities. Movement and rest have always been big parts of my life, enjoying
both equally. As a child I loved climbing trees and getting muddy as much as
snoozing in front of the fire or getting lost in a book. As an adult, not much
changed other than a greater appreciation for maintaining just the right balance
between the two. Motherhood has only amplified this need for ‘just the right
amount’ of movement and rest which has naturally influenced and inspired my
teaching.
