Sewing Classes Derby | Scheduling and Booking Website We offer a range of sewing courses in small groups for different skill levels from total beginners to a professional level. All our classes are run at the working design studio based in the heart of Derby city centre, where you could see and get inspired by a variety of beautifully designed and made garments; as well as enjoying our lovely creative atmosphere with professional help and advice. All classes we offer are taught in small groups of 3-6 people, to make sure that everybody gets all the help they need. At Little Tins we want to share our passion for making through courses and workshop plus our Little Tins kits. All developed and delivered by makers who can teach. Both of us have years of experience in our specialist areas, which we want to share with you. Our courses are more than just learning new skills and techniques; they’re about learning with confidence and the company of like-minded people and tutors. “It was a lovely class yesterday. It’s been such a hectic time at work the class was a little oasis of tranquility and centeredness. Toni Jarvis is a qualified Project Manager with 30 years of business expertise. Along with fellow directors John Newton, Niall O'Hagan, Marielle Newton & Pat Burgess we run Tiger Community Enterprise CIC. The community enterprise was set up to support enterprises and assist individuals and organisations to grow. Whilst we started with a focus on supporting local businesses and community organisations we have evolved to encompass the delivery of projects that support our core aims - to help people help themselves. We work in conjunction with partners to offer the widest range of options to the community to enhance their own skills and opportunities. Whether that be to build work skills to move down the career path, showcase talents and/or business, offer empowerment opportunities in the community to build confidence, communication, and contacts to avoid social isolation or to do our bit for the planet through our recycling project.
