To better equip care organisations and their amazing, hardworking staff in this fight, we offer the Essentials of Sepsis Recognition & Escalation For Care & Support Staff course. This face to face training course delivered by experienced healthcare professionals arms care and support staff with the necessary knowledge, skills and confidence to identify individuals at risk of sepsis, recognise its early signs, and escalate care effectively when they suspect sepsis. With our CQC compliant course, you'll be better prepared to help those at risk. Learners will receive an NR Medical Training/UK Sepsis Trust certificate which is valid for 1 year and a summary of elements covered throughout the course.

RQF Level 2 Award -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Age Range: 12yrs – 15yrs Course Length:  Three Hours Cost:  £25 + vat per person Maximum of 12 SYLLABUS A range of subjects are covered, including:- * Legalities, responsibilities and reporting * Dealing with an unresponsive casualty  * Fractures and spinal injuries * Resuscitation and AED Awareness * Assessment of the situation CERTIFICATION * Control of bleeding * Shock (including Anaphylaxis) * Heart attacks * Head injuries * Sprains and strains * Poisoning * Bandaging * Choking * Eye injuries * Chest injuries Maximum of 12 People All learners will have the skills and knowledge to provide the organisation with Emergency First Aider’s that can provide treatment to their casualties in a prompt, safe and effective manner. This accredited Two-Day First-Aid at Work Course is designed for those who currently hold a First-Aid Qualification that is due to expire and meets the requirements of the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.
