The program attained 180 students and won numerous state championships, giving Roberts the idea to create similar programs adapted for a broader age demographic. She brought the first Engineering For Kids programs to a local elementary school, where they were a hit. She received such a positive response that she decided to leave teaching to devote all of her time developing Engineering For Kids. The Program’s Success Today Since its inception, this program has changed the lives of more than 350,000 students. Coach’s Chris and Lara were living in Ealing, West London when they spotted a gap in the market for activities for young people aged 18 months – 12 years. They have developed Footy Fun 4 Kids sessions as a way of developing young people in all aspects of life. Football as the tool, allows their coaches to work closely with the young participants at developing confidence, social skills and independence, whilst increasing physical exercise and, of course, learning new football skills! A high percentage of young people are excluded from the game at a very young age due to a number of factors. Footy Fun 4 Kids activities welcomes all young people to the game and nurtures their inner footballer. I have won awards for my work, supported the world-renowned Paul McKenna and have made it my mission to continually learn, challenge and develop myself. I am a qualified NLP Trainer and Coach. I have trained with the best, completing many hundreds of hours’ study in Neuro Linguistic Programming. I am a certified Empowering Learning Coach and have also completed training in Hypnosis, Time Line Therapy, Coaching, Psycho-Neuro Immunology and Mindfulness techniques. My greatest learnings and discoveries in my life have definitely come from being a parent. Nothing could prepare me for the rollercoaster of absolute love, joy, concern, guilt and worry that comes from being a mum. It can be exhausting! Shakespeare's Kids was established by Sharon McNally (BA Hons) in 2012 following her studies in both Literature and Language. The objective initially was to explore ways in which quality literature, in particular Shakespeare, could be made more appealing and approachable to young children. Shakespeare's Kids have managed to create a unique experience where children as young as five can not only enjoy the stories of Shakespeare's plays, but actually become immersed in the the experience of becoming a literary character through costume, props, film and musical theatre. Drama, dance, music, film and costume were combined to encourage the children to create, perform and direct their version of Shakespeare's most popular works as well as their own unique stage productions. To date the project has produced short films adaptations of: - Macbeth - A Midsummer Night's Dream - Romeo & Juliet And their own unique historical short films including - The Revenge of Emmy Tot, Scotlands First Female Pirate - The World of William Shakespeare - The Battle of Bannockburn Filming has taken place across a range of locations from local graveyards, to historical sites such as Stirling Castl. From stately homes such as Chatelherault House Hamilton and Bannockburn House Stirling to Colzium Estate Kilsyth. The children have also ventured into stage productions and musical theatre creating their own plays based on literature & film's most classic heroes and villains and most recently they tackled a full scale Broadway Musical, Aladdin.
