This is a series of classes run over six weeks.&nbsp; During that time we will introduce you to the sewing machine, threading, winding the bobbin, different stitches etc before going on to make a number of projects to build your sewing skills
Projects include:
A simple bag- sewing straight seams, French seams, top stitching
A cushion cover-envelope style, working with wadding, top stitching, faux piping
A zippered pouch-sewing in a zip, lining, turning through, closing turning hole
A hanging pouch-working with interfacing, buttonholes, sewing on the bias, turning through, top stitching
We will conclude with some basic sewing machine maintenance and troubleshooting problems to include cleaning the machine
