We are an organisation that has one mission and that is to break the stigma around mental health in the workplace. 1 in 4 people experience a mental health issue every year however many feel unable to talk about it in the workplace for many different reasons. I have a passion for people which led me to the world of HR where I spent over 18 years developing and implementing initiatives around culture, high performance and wellbeing. Work plays an important part in our health and wellbeing and I believe that everyone has the right to work in a mentally healthy workplace and when people feel safe to talk about mental health they can truly thrive in work.

Abbey College Manchester is an independent sixth form college situated on Cheapside in Manchester city centre. Most of our 220 students study A-Levels, GCSEs or one of our International Foundation Programme pathways.
