I will be offering a revision course for the upcoming promotional examinations. In this revision course we will be highlighting the key concepts and unveiling the techniques required to solve common promotional examination questions. The first three lessons will be FREE TRIAL for all students. Each lesson, I will be providing concise topical summary notes and worksheets with past year examinations questions. Live demonstration of how to solve the common questions will be done and fully worked out answer keys with explanations will be provided. No preparation work will be required as I understand the rigorous curriculum of JC life, although some preparation will definitely aid you to appreciate the concepts better. However, I am confident that with clear examples and explanations, you will be able to grasp the concepts after each lesson.

Founded in 1989, it has over 150 code signatories from producers, retailers and membership bodies and it is funded by 17 industry leading member companies. The Portman Group aims to consistently challenge the industry to deliver high standards of best practice and fulfil the essential self-regulatory role of ensuring the responsible marketing and promotion of alcoholic products to UK consumers under our Codes of Practice. The Code which celebrated its 25 year anniversary in 2021 outlines the guidelines all alcohol producers must follow when naming, branding and selling alcoholic drinks. The Portman Group provides free advice to producers on labelling design in relation to the Code and training on how the rules are applied.

We are delighted to announce our new social action project, Giving Together, which aims to provide cooked kosher meals free of charge to the isolated and vulnerable in our neighbourhoods. We have successfully obtained a generous grant from Westminster City Council which will cover the costs for meals provided to Westminster residents in need of this service. St Johns Wood Synagogue will also offer meals to members and friends in surrounding areas. We are living in challenging times and some of our members and neighbours need a helping hand. We developed this Webinar Series because we feel there is a paucity of anaesthetic & ICU teaching in the foundation curriculum. Junior doctors often have to assess and refer critically unwell patients to ICU and/or emergency surgery out of hours with little senior support. In addition, many junior doctors are unaware of their patients’ journey after they are taken to the ICU. This series of webinars will enable junior doctors and medical students to develop this understanding and build their skills and confidence surrounding anaesthesia & intensive care. These webinars will also be an excellent introduction to the specialty for those considering a career in Anaesthetics / Critical Care. The webinars are free to attend, and each attendee will receive a certificate of attendance on completion of feedback for the lecturer.

Speak The Speech is a regular free acting class that uses monologues as the focus to develop the performers personal process. During the pandemic of 2020/2021 Speak The Speech moved to online sessions and focused on writing and performing, culminating in the publishing of an anthology of monologues; "Locked Down, a collection of modern monologues" is available on amazon in paperback and kindle. Warren created and led an international Acting Shakespeare Masterclass series in NYC, Vancouver and London when he co-ran Passion in Practice, an award winning Original Practices Shakespeare Ensemble, performing Shakespeare on three continents. It started when I began to learn more about the conditions for egg production and I realised that free-range wasn’t the wonderful happy situation that I thought it to be. The standards for labelling products as free-range are not as high as the marketing would suggest. (I am of course speaking in general terms and I know that this won’t apply to all farms, but it appears to apply to the majority). As a vegetarian at that time I’d already thought that I was quite ethically aware with what I bought, and it dawned on me that there must be many other people buying and supporting products that they also think are ethically sound, and that these people too may be interested to know more. Passion for performing arts! As a professional dancer, this prompted me to come up with an idea for a show to raise awareness on global issues and ethical living - not just animal welfare, but also climate change and human rights. However I realised that if the audience are inspired to make ethical changes or learn more, simply watching a show would not give them the tools to do that. Hence the creation of Impact – awesome events and activities to inspire change, with incredible live performances, the tools needed to live ethically and fun ways to implement everyday ethical living even for the busiest of lives! Don’t be put off by the heavy topics we’re dealing with, our events are fun and uplifting, with a vision of making positive changes. I’m not claiming to be perfect, nor am I trying to preach. I’m still learning too. I just know our planet is wonderful, as is the human race and all life that shares Earth with us.

These efforts are supported by a small team of resources based in New York, Hong Kong and London. FIX Trading Community was previously known as FIX Protocol Ltd (and this remains its full legal entity name). Our mission is to give hope and opportunities to children and young people in West London, so they fulfil their potential and leave prepared and excited for adult life. The Avenues team of youth professionals provides a safe, caring, youth-led space in a disadvantaged inner-city area, where young people can learn, develop and build towards a brighter future. Open-access after-school and holiday programmes take place in our purpose-built youth centre in North Westminster.
