As a child I absolutely hated swimming lessons!! I believe that this is why I feel it is so important that children enjoy their time in the pool and feel at ease in the water. Although I came to enrol on the swim teachers course by chance, in 2006, it is without doubt the best thing I ever did. I take immense enjoyment from my job; from seeing the joy swimming brings to children and also in helping them achieve the various awards on the STA International Learn to Swim Programme. I am a mum of two young boys and therefore spend most of my time playing football and exploring the local woods and parks!

My name is Jacqueline. I started my craft classes and gift shop in 2016 with one simple aim – to pass on my love and knowledge of crafts in a relaxing, fun and inclusive way through a range of accessible workshops, craft kits, handmade gifts and craft supplies. I truly believe there is a creative outlet for everyone . Once you find your ‘thing’ it will bring you many hours of joy and relaxation. We live in such a fast paced society and finding a little time to craft and be creative will bring you lots of benefits. It’s great for your wellbeing and this is what I want to share with you.

Our yard consists of a mixture of brick and timber built stables totalling 13. We are a small yard, in comparison to some, which means we can offer the best care with all horses being treated as individuals and one of our own. My name is Jen Barnes and I have been teaching Swimming since 2014. I love teaching children to swim and I leave every lesson with a smile because it really does bring me joy. Before having my own family, I worked in the Early Years sector which has given me a broader understanding of Child Development which I have applied to all the classes I teach. I believe that being in the water is one of the best ways to help your child grow in confidence. It is a sensory experience that helps develop co-ordination, brain connections, balance and is one of life's most necessary safety skills. Some experiences I have had in my life that were only possible because I can swim are: I have played Water Polo for Western Australia I am confident in my body because it is strong - and you have no other choice when you work in a swimming costume! I have been White Water Rafting in Indonesia I have surfed in Hawaii I have been swimming with Whalesharks on the Ningaloo Reef - one of the best experiences of my life! I truly love being in the water and I hope to share that passion with you in the pool!
