We are a new club in the West end of Paisley in the old St Mirren Social Club, 11 Knox St. Ideally situated for public transport and we have our own parking to the side of the building. The club has been formed by Hazel Watt, an ex squad gymnast who has been coaching in and around the Renfrewshire area since 2001, feeling it is a good time to provide a much needed sport specific hall within the area creating more opportunity for children and adults alike to take part in a fun and exciting sport. As this is a new club opening we will be primarily starting with the recreational/pre-school/adult sections to begin with. Once this has settled down and we identify gymnasts who are willing to work hard towards competing individually(artistic or tumble), as a group (acro) or for the pure enjoyment and team spirit in the display group then the hard work will really begin for these groups.

Due to increasing popularity and growth, the school expanded into its own specially designed premises and established itself as a charity to ensure performing arts could be fully inclusive. UKTheatreSchool is ideally situated at 4 West Regent Street within the most beautiful listed building in the centre of vibrant Glasgow and is a two-minute walk from Glasgow Central and Glasgow Queen Street train stations. UKTheatreSchool students enjoy special elements exclusive to this particular academy. Students have continued success in the theatre, film, radio and TV industries due to working with qualified, experienced tutors from the performing arts industry and the network of people connected with UKTheatreSchool. Glasgow Acting Academy SCIO is one of Scotland’s most exciting training platforms for children and young people (aged 4-18) in the performing arts, priding itself on a quality teaching and learning experience as well as its unique family-like environment and accessibility. A Registered Scottish Charity, Glasgow Acting Academy is a non-profit making organisation, and is open for 50 weeks of the year. At GAA, whether a student wishes to pursue a future career in the performing arts, or whether they wish to build their confidence levels, make friends and have fun, our key aim is to nurture our young people’s talents, to develop key transferable communication and social skills, and to promote self-expression through encouraging them to step outside their comfort zone in a safe, judgement-free environment.
