I have been teaching photography for over twenty years  - both privately and as a Senior Lecturer at University level. I offer a course for beginners where in 6 x 1 hour lessons you will be shooting in manual, editing your photos so they really pop and have a great understanding of light and composition. All classes are 121 to ensure you learn at your own pace and I run a jargon-free zone! For those more experienced photographers I also offer a portfolio review to discuss how to make more money from your photography or produce that body of work you have already dreamed of. As well as being a professional photographer for nearly three decades I also have a Masters in Teaching and a Fellow of the Higher Education Accademy.

Bristol Photographic Society is one of the oldest photographic groups in the South West of England. The origins of the Society can be traced through to a number of mergers in the early 1900s and today it is still actively providing a vigorous programme catering for the wide photographic interests of its members. The Society is fortunate in owning its own premises and is thus able to encourage complete freedom in providing a variety of separately run programmes: an annual photography course, meetings, outings, competitions, specialist groups, a library and studio facilities, all held in a friendly and convivial atmosphere.
