Isha Foundation teaches pure, classical yoga, with a deep respect for the
tradition and science of yoga. The programmes have been developed by the highly
respected Yogi, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, who is a regular speaker at
international conferences and on television. All of Isha's Hatha Yoga Teachers
have undergone at least 21 weeks of intensive training, amounting to some 1,750
hours. The teachers are independent of Isha Foundation. Classes are carefully
designed so that the student learns to perform the yoga at home, without needing
to continue paying to attend weekly sessions. No equipment is required, except a
yoga mat.
