Rather than just signing you up for tuition, we like to sit down with parents & students to learn more about them. What do you enjoy? What challenges you? Only by understanding these things can we help children develop an organised, efficient and effective learning mentality. Mentoring & advice We understand that making decisions about education and careers can be difficult and stressful. That’s why we’re always happy to offer students advice– especially those studying GCSE and A-Levels — to help them navigate subject and career options. Bespoke syllabus Like private schools, we have dedicated Subject Coordinators building our bespoke syllabus (fully aligned to the National Curriculum and major exam boards like AQA, OCR and Edexcel). This central control allows us to plan lessons for the entire year and cover everything students need to learn for exams. Assessment every 6 weeks After 5 weeks of learning a particular set of topics, students are tested on week 6 to assess how much they’ve learnt. The results show us where the student is successful, but also gives us an idea of where there is room for improvement so that we can reinforce those topics. Homework for every lesson Every student receives approximately 30 minutes worth of homework for each hour of tuition. We find it’s a good amount of work that will keep their brains stimulated outside of school & tuition, without being too stressful. Parent conferences Want regular updates about how your child is progressing? Every 12 weeks we organise a parent conference, allowing parents to catch up with tutors and ask any questions. Qualified & experienced tutors We only use UK qualified and experienced tutors that are either active/experienced school teachers, or industry professionals like trainee doctors, dentists and engineers that are currently working in their respective fields. Small classes Schools can overcrowd classrooms with 25-30 children at one go, making it difficult to give them individual attention. Our centre maintains an average of 6-8 students per class so that everyone gets the support they need to succeed.

The reason why so many students choose QAC is because it offers a great variety of academic and employment focused courses. This combination with excellent learning and leisure facilities and friendly staff is a winner. During their time at QAC learners are able to develop their academic as well as their social skills, make new friends and enjoy being independent and responsible for their own decisions and actions. “I visited other colleges as well but when I came for an assessment to QAC I had a really good feeling about this place and that helped me to make my final decision about coming to QAC as opposed to other colleges for the visually impaired.” - Natasha “Staff are warm, friendly and accommodating and have always met our child’s needs and addressed our concerns.” “My daughter has gained confidence and has made some new friends. Staff are amazing, very approachable and helpful. My daughter is well supported.” “The residential staff understand my son very well, he has had a difficult year and residential staff have been amazing in how they have supported him.” “Staff and student interaction is excellent. Encouraging environment with plenty of opportunities for the student to grow and learn.” “QAC has given my son confidence, he’s made friends which he struggled with and he’s also doing a course that he enjoys, while giving him some independence.” “We like the commitment that the college has to all its students and the help and support that is given by all the staff.” A parent wrote this letter to QAC (names have been removed): "I am writing to you to tell you how deeply thankful we are to you and your team at QAC for giving us our son back. He has Aspergers Syndrome and we were finding it very difficult to cope with him and his condition. He was happy being alone and secluded from the world outside our home, we were worried about how he would develop when he left mainstream Secondary School and how his life would pan out. Then we were lucky enough to have him accepted by QAC and we have never looked back. He has been there for 9 months now and he is a different person. He has gone from strength to strength with the support and dedication of the residential staff and also the teaching staff. He has really come out of his shell tremendously since meeting his Key Worker - he has worked wonders with our son and now he is on his way to independence and he has made so many friends there too. Our son loves it at QAC and living in his house - because of that, we as his parents have been given our life back. For that we are eternally grateful to you and all your staff."

Location Routes Management

We are a UK Film & TV Agency specialising in “on the move” filming. This ranges from a routes library of film-friendly driving routes, consultancy services, training and a talent agency service. For each route through our library, we offer 4K dash cam footage (front & rear footage in day and night views), a digital map and supporting documents for the locations team on the day. We are innovating the way in which we scout for “on the move” locations. We hope to also increase the training offered & level of knowledge in this area among film crew Oliver Laurenson-Gore – Location Manager & Scout set up Location Routes in early 2022 after his experience of working on PIRATES (BFI/BBC Films) back in 2019 & 2020. This roadtrip from North to Central London involving a car being the central aspect of the film. made him understand the challenges of “filming on the move”. He often found from his own experience that it was challenging to show Directors and other creatives involved suitable roads without recording the route. There was also a number of times in his career that he had to change the route last minute which has caused additional stress and wasted shooting time. Why offer this service and is it needed? Think of how many Film & TV shows that have any form of vehicles driving or stunt scenes on roads…it’s most shows! Roads are getting more difficult to find with more lane reduction programmes and cycle lanes in cities and towns across the UK. Location Managers are being asked to find more locations than ever before in tighter turnaround times. Location Routes is here to help

Neema Women Community

Sparkbrook

We aspire to make a difference in the lives of thousands of women and families through our services and a part of our support focuses especially on BAME communities, so they can acquire the autonomy required to lead a productive and rewarding life and contribute to the development of their community. We know how important it is to keep a healthy mind to keep a healthy body. Studies have shown that minorities have more difficult access to mental health due to ethnic and cultural barriers such as religious beliefs, urban cultural legends, stereotypes and pre-judgment. From a global perspective, currently, women are considered the weak link in humanity and are often harassed or infantilised, while in reality, it is quite the opposite as women are the engine of this world. Without entering the feminism claimant, we want to support them, accompany them, and motivate them on the importance of their role so that they can fully take their place in this world and flourish. Our History arises from the experiences of our founders. Our Director Board is made of women from different stages of the community who have experienced the same challenges and difficulties as the women we are aiming to support. The board represents a multidisciplinary team that has travelled a lot, speaks several languages, and has mastered several cultures. We have carried out numerous humanitarian actions for 10 years around the world Asia, Africa, Europe, meetings with exceptional women and incredible life stories and success stories.
