This qualification is suitable for learners holding a Level 2 qualification in Gym Instruction or equivalent who wish to progress to a career as a professional Personal Trainer on an employed or self-employed basis. The qualification aims to equip the learner with the skills, knowledge and understanding required to plan and instruct programmes for exercise referral. Learners will cover: Skills relating to the qualification: Collect and analyse nutritional information and apply the principles of nutrition to a physical activity programme. Collect information about exercise referral patients and prepare patients and resources for exercise referral sessions. Instruct, adapt, conclude and review exercise referral sessions. Agree on goals, plan, manage, review progress and adapt an exercise referral programme with exercise referral patients.

The Level 4 Certificate in Strength and Conditioning (RQF) is aimed at learners who are already qualified at level 3 and are looking to progress into the specialised field of strength and conditioning. The Level 4 Certificate in Strength and Conditioning (RQF) provides learners with the knowledge and understanding of how to improve athletic performance, through a systematic approach developing athletic qualities such as speed strength and power, as well as reducing sporting injuries.

The City & Guilds 2365 Level 3 Course is the natural progression for anyone who has completed the Level 2 Diploma 2365 course or related level 2 courses. On completion of this course you will then be able to undertake the Level 3 NVQ thus becoming recognised as a fully qualified electrical engineer within the industry with the ability to apply for JIB (Gold Card) membership upon successful completion of the AM2 Assessment.
