gym jams soft play
London
The day to day running of the sessions is delivered by Jon. He has great
attention to detail and offer a first-class service to all the parents,
grandparents and childminders. By setting out the soft play area so families can
see their little ones wherever they are, it gives adults the opportunity to sit
back and have their drink, happy in the knowledge their little one is playing
safely. They endeavour to ensure that each and every adult can take the
opportunity to have a bit of ‘me’ time, even in the midst of soft play chaos!
Jon also volunteers as the Manager of the village hall, including duties as the
Health & Safety Officer. His wife, Amanda, works behind the scenes to ensure the
smooth running of Gym Jams. Updating policies, procedures, risk assessments and
answering any emails. Amanda has a degree in Leisure Management and has
qualifications in childcare learning & development, playwork, gymnastics
coaching, paediatric first aid, first aid at work, mental health first aid,
health & safety, and child protection. Amanda owned a pre-school playgroup for
over 8 years and worked in Local Authority ‘Play and Youth Development’ for over
11 years, where she delivered play opportunities for children from age 2-16
years old, and trained professionals in safeguarding children, special
educational needs and disabilities, and in behaviour management of children.
