Become a Mental Health First Aid Champion Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an internationally recognised training course, which teaches people how to spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill health and to provide help on a first aid basis. This course is designed for people who want to promote and positively affect attitudes on mental health in the workplace.

Just like physical first aid, we recommend that Mental Health First Aiders and MHFA Champions attend a Refresher course every three years.

This accredited qualification is for people who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide help to people in a range of emergency first aid situations The certificate will last for 3 years

One day Emergency First Aid at Work course, suitable for most working environments.

This one-day Suicide First Aid training course gives learners the knowledge and tools to understand that suicide is one of the most preventable deaths and some basic skills can help someone with thoughts of suicide stay safe from their thoughts and stay alive.

This introductory three hour session raises awareness of young people’s mental health. It covers: Some of the common mental health issues affecting young people, including depression, anxiety, eating disorders and psychosis Skills to work more effectively with young people living with mental health issues Ways to support young people with a mental health issue and relate to their experiences
