Are you ready to design for the metaverse? We will introduce you to working digitally and take you through the process of developing a fashion project through the use of technology. It will cover idea development, research, digital sketchbook creation, experimental draping (in CLO 3D), digital print design, garment design (CLO 3D), and final outcome presentation. CLO 3D is a software used to create virtual garments and as a sustainable sampling method by many fashion brands. By the end of the week, you will have produced a collection of 2 looks, incorporating your own print designs and presented in a setting you have created; as well as a documentation of the process. This course is inclusive of male and gender-neutral designs. Through a combination of years of experience and listening to our student’s feedback, we've extended our course to include more highlights and opportunities for our 10-13-year-old students to get to know their fashion family. In addition, there's a larger focus on experimental design and pattern cutting whilst building their fabric knowledge. This programme is non-residential. This course is inclusive of male and gender-neutral designs. You'll be able to make garments such as skirts, blazers, bomber jackets, mini skirts, dresses, loungewear, swimwear, and accessories, the possibilities are endless. This programme is perfect for a teenager who is curious about learning how to sew, design and make their own clothes, use and alter patterns and would like to know information on what it takes to be a designer. There will be a constant gaze on sustainability and how you can make your process as sustainable and zero-waste as possible. This course is inclusive of male and gender-neutral designs. The Savile Row Academy Advanced Course in Bespoke Tailoring and Cutting starts each September. The course is a modular programme of advanced study modules including; pattern drafting, cloth cutting, fitting and remarking; Waistcoat making; Trouser making; Coat making. Students will complete one three-piece suit and successful trainees will be awarded a Bespoke Tailor’s Certificate.

Our six week course starts each July and focuses on Men’s pattern drafting, block patterns, figurations, cutting, fitting, remarking and master patterns. Successful students will be awarded a certificate.
