This is an intensive 6 day training course covering all of our Ayurveda face and Body therapies. This course is for therapists looking to advance their skills. All the courses can be booked separately (see separate listings) but booking our 6 day intensive back to back course saves you £500+ pounds. In this course we cover; Mukhabhyanga Facial Massage Plus our Holistic Glow facial and Purifying Detox facial, using Ayurveda tools such as magma-point wands, herbal detox hot compress and marma comb to work on karma-points and alleviate the treatment. Marma-Point Massage An ancient therapy combining pressure to specific marma (vital) points all over the body and yogic stretches of all joints. The massage manipulates healthy flow of energy through the body’s junctions and nadis (pathways and channels), and delivery is personalised according to your needs. Pinda Sweda Hot Compress Massage Therapeutic Ayurvedic herbal powders are crushed in a traditional pestle and mortar and tied into a muslin cloth which forms the medium for this treatment, known in India as a bolus. After warming, oil is applied to the body using the bolus and an Ayurvedic technique known as pummelling. Extremely nourishing, strengthening and rejuvenating, this treatment is great for sports enthusiasts as it addresses problems relating to weak joints and sore muscles. It involves warm dosha-specific oils poured into the hair, aiding the nourishment of roots. While the indigenous herbs calm and revitalise the spirit, ancient massage techniques allow the body to surrender and enhance overall equilibrium. Shirodhara Hot Oil Scalp Massage Warm blended oil is gently poured in a slow rhythmic movement over the forehead marma (vital) point, also known as the third eye. Profoundly relaxing, this treatment works to switch off a chattering mind and induce deep rest for a renewed energy and calm that borders meditation. A facial or foot and leg treatment precedes the shirodhara.

Holistic Facial Training This professional 1-day Holistic Facial course is designed to teach you how to give a luxury holistic facial treatment and massage. You will gain confidence to work professionally with different skin types and develop an awareness of how facials work to improve physical as well as emotional well-being, relieve stress and tension. We advise studying our Anatomy & Physiology course and Advanced Skin science course alongside this training.

Advanced Reflexology This is course includes all the required elements to work effectively as a reflexologist including, modules covering the following: knowledge and understanding of the principles and practice and business practice, anatomy and physiology for complementary therapies. You will also develop your understanding and practical skills to competently provide reflexology treatments. This is 2 x full weekend - once you select the first date option we will organise both dates once we speak with you.

A wellness massage can be full body or can be focused in certain areas depending on your preferences. This massage is slow, calming and designed to help destress the mind and body. We incorporate the face and scalp in this treatment. To complete the course you need to have a massage qualification.

Aromatherapy Massage Aromatherapy massage is a popular mainstream therapy, and is offered at any reputable spa or beauty treatment clinic. Our comprehensive 2-day professional course guides you carefully through everything you need to know to carry out an aromatherapy treatment for your clients. You will learn about the properties of essential oils, blending essential oils to suit your clients needs, also carrier oils and their own properties.
