Through a combination of years of experience and listening to our student’s feedback, we've extended our course to include more highlights and opportunities for our 10-13-year-old students to get to know their fashion family. In addition, there's a larger focus on experimental design and pattern cutting whilst building their fabric knowledge. This programme is non-residential. This course is inclusive of male and gender-neutral designs. You'll be able to make garments such as skirts, blazers, bomber jackets, mini skirts, dresses, loungewear, swimwear, and accessories, the possibilities are endless. This programme is perfect for a teenager who is curious about learning how to sew, design and make their own clothes, use and alter patterns and would like to know information on what it takes to be a designer. There will be a constant gaze on sustainability and how you can make your process as sustainable and zero-waste as possible. This course is inclusive of male and gender-neutral designs. Learn how to make really fun and creative bowls from rope and bits of scrap fabric. I will teach you all you need to know and I will supply all you need to get going. It is SO fun and SO versatile! You decide on the shape, size and colours! This is a very practical and hands on class which will see you making stuff in no time. All tools, use of machines and materials are included. The class will finish around 1pm

This is a comprehensive programme where you be learning the process from A-Z; research, illustration, design development to the final product as well as having industry talks along the way. This programme is perfect for the teenager who is curious about fashion and what it takes to be a fashion designer, as well as students with a bit more experience in fashion and sewing. Are you ready to design for the metaverse? We will introduce you to working digitally and take you through the process of developing a fashion project through the use of technology. It will cover idea development, research, digital sketchbook creation, experimental draping (in CLO 3D), digital print design, garment design (CLO 3D), and final outcome presentation. CLO 3D is a software used to create virtual garments and as a sustainable sampling method by many fashion brands. By the end of the week, you will have produced a collection of 2 looks, incorporating your own print designs and presented in a setting you have created; as well as a documentation of the process. This course is inclusive of male and gender-neutral designs.
