33 Emergency Medical Services (EMS) courses

Our Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 course is designed for individuals who wish to act as an emergency first aider in their workplace. Attendees of this course will be qualified to legally administer First Aid to those aged 18 years of age and over. (If you require First Aid provision for those under 18 years of age, you can add the Emergency Paediatric First Aid top up to this course on booking). All successful delegates from this course will be awarded a nationally recognised Ofqual regulated certificate that is valid for 3 years. All delegates from this course will also receive free access to our Annual Video Refresher Training each year, until requalification is due. This course is for people who are often the first to respond to a possible medical emergency. This encompasses Police, Firefighters, and medical staff at festivals and events. It also includes Emergency/Community First Responders, Door Supervisors, Close Protection Operatives, and Security Guards. Individuals working in high-risk environments are also catered for. These environments include the military, power stations, agriculture, and manufacturing facilities.

A one-day programme of study designed for Registered Nurses, Doctors, and Allied Health Professionals working in a variety of care settings, whose role may include supporting and advising patients who are end of life.

Awareness of what is happening during the rupture of a coronary plaque assists the attendee in understanding why such a microscopic event can have such a catastrophic outcome.

An opportunity to learn about various heart rhythm disturbances, their aetiology, management and treatment strategies.

An opportunity to develop essential knowledge and skills that are necessary for the safe care and management of a patient requiring an Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)

A comprehensive two days, delivered using a variety of teaching styles, by professionals who manage medical emergencies on a day-to-day basis. A number of the more common presenting conditions are covered providing a structured approach to the pathophysiology, initial assessment and management of the acutely ill medical patient.

An opportunity to learn about a structured assessment of chest pain. Primarily looking at Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS), but also other differentials such as myopericarditis, dissection.

This course provides learners with the knowledge and skills necessary to care for the adult patient requiring High Flow Nasal Oxygen (HFNO).

This course enables participants to develop essential patient management skills that are necessary for identifying and managing the safe care of a patient requiring cardiac catheterisation.
