Rainford High School opened in 1940 to serve Rainford and the surrounding area. The school has been fortunate to have had a rebuild under the Building Schools for the Future that was opened fully in September 2013. The new building provides an inspiring and modern learning environment for the students and the teachers to focus on learning. The school site has state of the art facilities for Science, Design and Technology and ICT. The new learning environment for Art, Music and Drama will enable our students to produce work of an even higher standard and produce performances the school can celebrate with its community. Facilities such as the immersive space and the “show and tell” area allow teaching and learning to be delivered in a creative, engaging and imaginative way. Our aim is to make a difference to the lives of children and young people aged 8-18 years with a range of needs. Aspire Scotland is part of Aspris Children’s Services and offers specialist care and/or education services across Ayrshire. We support children and young people aged 8-18 years with a range of complex needs. This includes an autistic spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), child sexual exploitation (CSE), emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD), and other behaviours that may challenge. At Aspire Scotland, we provide high quality care and education in safe and nurturing environments, taking full account of national standards and quality indicators. This is further emphasised by six of our children’s homes being graded as either ‘5 – Very Good’ or ‘6 – Excellent’, during their latest inspection from the Care Inspectorate. We work in partnership with families and Local Authorities to achieve the best possible outcomes. The range of services that we provide at Aspire Scotland include: Bespoke care packages and individually tailored education services provided by Aspire Scotland’s education facility, based in Kilbirnie. The campus also includes a café. Residential homes with rural environments, offering therapeutic and spacious surroundings. Welcome to Endeavour Academy! Our specialist school and children's home in Oxford is for children and young people aged between 8 and 19 with autism and severe learning difficulties who benefit from an autism specific environment. Developed in a partnership between MacIntyre Academies Trust and Oxfordshire County Council Endeavour was set up to meet the needs of students and their families locally. Our Academy tailors the national curriculum to students’ individual needs with a strong focus on gaining life skills that help independence. We work closely with parents and carers of each student to ensure the whole family is fully supported and reassured that their child is safe and happy, respected and celebrated. This includes the offer of flexible residential opportunities in our onsite Children’s Home. Our aim is to provide our children and young people with the skills and opportunities that will equip them to live purposeful lives. The curriculum we follow helps to ensure that all students receive a highly personalised, relevant education - with communication and sensory integration embedded. For our students who spend time in our residential provision, this includes a waking day curriculum which focuses on educational, social and emotional development as well as sensory aspects of the curriculum. Our staff work creatively and flexibly to tailor-make learning opportunities that motivate our students and reinforce learning. I AM YOGI is the story of wanting to build a yoga community. The company was co-founded by myself and Vittoria Manca. After practising yoga together for many years at various studios, we wanted to give it a go ourselves! In 2016, I decided to leave my career as a secondary school teacher and complete my yoga training in Goa, India. On returning, teaching in the local gym just wasn’t enough and the vision started to brew. The origins of I AM YOGI started in a space called ‘The Glasshouse’, which was essentially a conservatory on a pub car-park in Moseley. The weekly schedule started there. Wind the clock forward 18 months and the purpose-built wooden cabin that now stands in Moseley Park, was The Glasshouse re-envisioned. The cabin was constructed by a local carpenter and friend, Jim Jones along with many helping hands from parents, close friends, extended family and local stakeholders. Today, I have a dedicated team who work hard behind the scenes, from our CABIN CREW to our outstandingly dedicated TEACHING TEAM. The community that I AM YOGI serves and continues to create is special - and now even extends out into the virtual world since the pandemic! You can practice YOGA AT HOME with us from anywhere, anytime! The work we continue to do is for every yogi that continues to show up and practice with us.

Our names are Leah & Molly, we’re the founders of Little Turtles. Both of us have worked with children for 6 years+, both worked in a creche followed by both becoming childminders and how we actually met each other! We have a huge passion working with children and thoroughly enjoy our jobs as childminders. We both knew we wanted to work with children and build something of our own, after months of thinking and eventually planning, we created Little Turtles, parent, baby and toddler classes! We are both fully qualified in Early Childhood Care & Education Level 5, whilst Leah is currently studying her QQI Level 6 Childcare with Montessori. We are both fully qualified in First Aid & Fire Safety Training, Manual Handling, Food Safety and Children First with Tusla. We love working with children and find it such a rewarding job, working as a childminder and watching the children you work with grow and learn every day is amazing. So we want to put all our love, energy and passion into opening these classes for your children, we want to create a fun and friendly environment for you all! We would love to see you all grow and learn every day! So please, come along with us on this journey and I promise you won’t regret it.
