What most experts don’t tell you is that there are a few simple tasks that you can complete at home (without paying a financial adviser or accountant to help you) can make a massive difference in how you feel about money.

In this course, you will learn to create Kafka Streams microservices using the Spring cloud framework. This is an example-driven course, and you will learn to use Confluent Kafka distribution for all the examples. By the end of this course, you will learn to create Kafka Streams microservices using different types of serializations, Confluent schema registry, and creating stateless and stateful event processing applications.
 Kafka Streams with Spring Cloud Streams will help you understand stream processing in general and apply it to Kafka Streams Programming using Spring Boot.

This course uses the Kafka Streams library compatible with Spring Cloud 2020. All the source code and examples used in this course have been tested by the author on Confluent Platform 6.0.0, which is compatible with Apache Kafka 2.6 open-source distribution.

This is a fully example-driven course, and you will be working with multiple examples during the entire session. We will be making extensive use of IntelliJ IDEA as the preferred development IDE and Apache Maven and Gradle as the preferred build tool. However, based on your prior experience, you should be able to work with any other IDE designed for Spring application development and any other build tool designed for Java applications.

This course also makes use of Log4J2 to teach you industry-standard log implementation in your application. We will be using JUnit5, which is the latest version of JUnit, to implement unit test cases.
Working examples and exercises are the most critical tool to sharpen your skills. This course consists of some programming assignments as and when appropriate. These exercises will help you validate and check your concepts and apply your learning to solve programming problems.

 <h2>About the Author</h2><h3>Zabihollah Rezaee</h3>Dr. Zabihollah (Zabi) Rezaee is the Thompson-Hill Chair of Excellence and Professor of Accountancy at the University of Memphis. He served a two-year term on the Standing Advisory Group of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board. He received his BS degree from the Iranian Institute of Advanced Accounting, his MBA from Tarleton State University in Texas, and his Ph.D. from the University of Mississippi. He served as the 2012-2014 secretary of the Forensic and Investigative Accounting Section of the American Accounting Association and is currently the editor of the Journal of Forensic Accounting Research of the AAA. Lil is an editor with over 15 years experience in the publishing industry. She’s currently freelancing and is in direct contact with many of the big publishing houses: Hachette, Bonnier Books, and book packager, Working Partners Ltd, among others. She also works with the Caroline Wakeman Literary Agency, assessing their authors’ work for commercial viability, as well as scouting for new talent.
For twelve years, Lil was a Senior Commissioning Editor at Working Partners Ltd – the creatives behind massive commercial hits such as Beast Quest, Warriors and the Daisy Meadows series. There she created globally successful concepts for every age group and developed storylines so the books were unputdownable. 
Lil is also an author in her own right: she has written 6 books under her own name, and ghost written many others under various pseudonyms. 
In every age level, Lil would like to see originality - particularly in voice. A strong character with depth, venturing on a quest that's never been undertaken before will get her excited. The 'quest' doesn't have to be epic in scale, it could be as small as petting the next-door neighbour's dog, or getting the good looking new kid to notice you, it just has to be something a reader will want to invest in.
