A qualified, experienced Mountain Leader and Rock Climbing Instructor, I was born and grew up in Hayfield at the foot of Kinder Scout where the mass trespass paved the way for hillwalking as we know it. My grandfather raced at Le Mans with Rob Lawrie, a boot maker who supplied the Alpine Club expeditions and made boots for Hillary’s ascent of Everest. Given this background, it was inevitable I’d be involved in the outdoors. I love this history but am equally excited about helping future generations and those new to the mountains. I’ve worked in the outdoors since 2006. I believe education and learning is vital and that mountaineering can be a powerful tool to develop people – whether this is a long, life changing journey or simply climbing a single peak as one-off challenge. In addition to working as a Mountain Leader and Instructor my expertise in logistics, planning & project management means I have the capability to deliver highly successful events across a broad range of sectors. I provide logistical & event support services for adventurous activities & challenges to a range of customers including charities, schools, private companies & high net worth individuals. I enjoy a range of outdoor, active sports; hillwalking, skiing, climbing, sailing, cycling (on the road) and swimming in open water. I enjoy introducing the next generation to the outdoors – through the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and supporting primary schools. I’m based in Manchester and work predominantly in the Peak District, Lake District, Yorkshire Dales & Snowdonia, but I am UK mobile.

Pupils join our school at the age of 7 when they are in Year 3 and remain with us for 4 years, leaving at the end of Year 6. We have 2 parallel classes in each of the year groups in Key Stage 2 as well as a dedicated Enhanced Resource Unit for pupils with a diagnosis of Autism. Our pupils are at the heart of our school and we pride ourselves on our inclusive ethos and commitment to improvement. Hi, I'm Dave, a fully qualified personal trainer, fitness instructor, sports massage therapist and nutrition specialist. I created Edinburgh Bootcamp in April 2016 when I first moved to Edinburgh with my 2 awesome little boys. Now with almost 3000 classes over the last 5 years, EBC has a strong community of amazing people who support each other every week both online and in the field. I love what I do and I make sure every class is the best it can be! EBC is everything you want out of an exercise class! You will laugh, you will sweat and you will feel alive! I developed my passion for health and fitness about 10 years ago and have since had a lot of experience working with people, coaching and now run my own online nutrition programme LeanFit. I used to be 20 kilos overweight and addicted to junk food. I have not always been into health and fitness! I decided one day that is was time to get a hold of my life and turn my health around, this is where my long and bumpy journey started. I have been through countless fad diets and I have fallen off the wagon more times than I care to mention. This has given me valuable life experience that I now use to help others reach their goals and feel amazing everyday! There is so much confusion about exercise and nutrition, but there is no need! Life can be very simple and easy when you understand your own body and have the support you need.

It has always held a fascination for me and exploring the history, techniques and examples of embroidery from around the world has been a joy as I have learned more and more about this extraordinary craft. As well as Day Classes, the Certificate and Diploma, Summer Intensive Certificate and the Degree modules at Hampton Court Palace, I have taught at the Victoria and Albert Museum, The British Library and The Royal Free Hospital. Currently I have a studio at Lancaster Castle though I spend a lot of my time teaching and embroidering elsewhere. I run workshops and teach classes for the RSN, at Hampton Court and in Lancaster. Recently I've taught at The Brewery Arts in Kendal; Swallows and Artisans, Coniston; Farfield Mill Sedbergh; and Cumbria's Museum of Military Life in Carlisle to name a few. I also run Embroidery Groups in Kendal and Lancaster. Alongside that I continue to exhibit, recently I've curated exhibitions at Farfield Mill, at Cumbria's Museum of Military Life in Carlisle, and Lancaster Castle. And I found time to do online courses for the RSN and for the School of Stitched Textile, host a holiday for Colouricious and talks for embroidery groups. During Covid I've also taught and tutored online. When I'm not busy with all this I love undertaking renovations, and have done work ranging from samplers to a Shabraque for the Parachute Regiment's pony. This versatility came in handy working as an expert with the BBC One Programme The Repair Shop. It's busy but great fun.

Ambrogio McClintock – RICEY – is the unique mix of Italian and Scottish giving you an extremely passionate and unforgettable instructor whose love and passion for skiing is infectious. His ability to connect with all levels and ages of learners makes each lesson an individual and magical experience. Ricey has over 20 years teaching experience, and is qualified to the highest level (BASI International Ski Teacher Diploma – I.S.T.D). He has taught in a number of countries from Scotland to Spain, Italy to France, New Zealand to Switzerland, and beyond, and in 2004 settled in Morzine where he has been teaching since. Ricey’s passion for teaching has lead him down a number of development paths to ensure that he is the best teacher he can be. He spends the Autumn coaching ski instructors for the European Speed Test (Giant Slalom), in Saas Fee with JJC Training. As well as ski coaching he is the resident psychological coach preparing the athletes and helping them to clear their minds, focus and realise their full potential. He is a Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming after developing an interest in the psychological aspect of learning & performing early on in his ski teaching career. Ricey uses a number of methods in his day to day ski teaching and coaching. He takes great interest and pleasure in seeing the transformation of clients and helping them reach places they didn’t think possible. We want as many kids to experience cricket as possible and, ultimately, go on play cricket as adults. In between, that means we have to develop a culture of excellence in building participation through mass outreach, working with local schools and the community, inspiring a lifelong love of cricket by identifying and nurturing talents and enabling the kids to develop as far as they can. By enjoying what they do and having fun. We have a track record of doing that over 15 years at Staplehurst Cricket & Tennis Club. Now, as Weald Coaching, we are commiting all our time and energies to building on it. We are intent on creating a series of programmes that cater appropriately for every child, whatever their current level of cricket capability, from complete beginner to high performance athlete. And attracting the dedicated resources and coaching capacity for that to happen. But it also means doing some things differently. Our approach pre-dated the development of ECB national programmes and we think we have more experience and knowledge to deliver an all round offer to kids at the youngest ages without the constraints of weekly coaching schedules and some session plans which ignore the kids’ levels of awareness of what cricket is. Similarly, we have created a competitive cricket offer at ages 8 through to 16 which accommodates the kids’ capabilities, not simply their age. Where the emphasis is on participation and development and not the strongest cricketers or simply winning. Yet, we intend delivering more appropriate playing opportunities, week-on-week, than has been possible previously.
