These sessions are for everyone who signs up to our Digital Course 'Build a Brand for Your Online Business: 90-Day Jumpstart' These short interactive sessions are help once per-month and give you the chance to ask our team any questions you may have regarding implementing strategy or anything regarding your experience on the course so far!

This Digital Electronics Course is designed to give practical knowledge of the type of electronic circuitry used in a modern Computer System or in any type of Computer Controlled equipment such as Photocopiers, Cash Registers, Tablets, mobile phones and many other types of IT equipment. Digital Electronics involves the use of Silicon chips (Integrated Circuits). The internal structure of a computer is to a large extent comprised of Digital Electronic Circuits.

In this 3-hour course, you’ll gain a basic understanding of finance and accounting concepts to drive the success of your business.

This Carbon Literacy Training has been developed in conjunction with the Carbon Literacy Project and funded by the Church of England Environment Programme. This bespoke training course has been designed especially for the Church of England to provide a strong grounding in carbon literacy to support clergy and key Eco champions in their work, as well as diocesan staff, and is a valuable professional development opportunity. The training course will equip each participant to understand the issues, present the need for action to people with differing awareness and views, and take practical steps to implement change individually and as local church communities.  This free online course consists of 8 hours of learning over 4 sessions (2 hours each) and some pre-course preparation including videos and practical exercises.  Week 1: Tuesday 17th September 5-7pm Week 2: Tuesday 24th September 5-7pm Week 3: Tuesday 1st October 5-7pm Week 4: Tuesday 8th October 5-7pm It starts with the basics and has plenty scope for learning and sharing for those with much more experience. The course is accredited by the Carbon Literacy Project and includes each participant making two carbon pledges at the end of the course to receive this accreditation

The Preliminary Electronic Security Course is an introductory (or revision) course designed to provide participants who have no previous Electrical or Electronics experience with the background skills required to attend the CCTV Installation Course, Access Control Course or Fire Alarm Foundation Course. The course gives both an introduction to electronics and electronic security and shows how the two fields merge together. Ideal for a beginner wishing to learn more about this fascinating area. A large practical content is guaranteed. The day will be an excellent learning experience with a skilled instructor. It is a great introduction to the other courses we provide.

LOOKING FOR: ADULT FICTION Kate Barker has worked in publishing for over twenty years as an agent, commissioning editor and ghostwriter. Before setting up her own company, Kate Barker Literary Agency, she spent ten years at Penguin, where she was an Editorial Director for Viking, acquiring fiction and non-fiction. She is looking for commercial and reading group fiction for adults and would love to find an unputdownable thriller like Rosamund Lupton's Three Hours, a funny, heartbreaking contemporary novel like Queenie by Candice Carty-Williams or a romantic comedy with a unique premise like The Flatshare by Beth O'Leary. She also loves historical fiction and series crime. Kate would like you to submit a covering letter, one page synopsis and the first three chapters (Max 5,000 words) of your completed manuscript in a single word document. (In addition to the paid sessions, Kate is kindly offering one free session for low income/under-represented writers.
