Art Play is a space based in Shoreditch, that provides creative workshops for both children and adults. If you are looking to learn a new skill, make new friends or simply have fun doing something a bit different, we are the place for you! Here at Art Play London, we offer a wide range of creative workshops for adults and children of all ages. We believe in the importance of expressing ourselves creatively, freeing our imaginations and most importantly, having fun! Whether you're an artist already or looking to try something new, we offer a huge selection of classes for all abilities. Art Play has a strong focus on the environment and aims to educate children and adults on their environmental impact through art. We therefore use a variety of sustainable mediums and materials. We are a part of the worldwide Precious Plastic Community, which means we have a plastic collection point for HDPE plastic, which would otherwise end up in landfills or the ocean. Once collected, the plastic is shredded and melted using equipment we have in our studio. It can then be turned into useful objects such as plant pots and coasters, and can even be turned into art! Art Play London was founded by Silva Castellani in 2018, starting out as pop-up events around London. We set up our studio space in February 2022 and are now permanently based in Shoreditch.

The Mayor, Councillor Rob Appleyard The Charter Trustees of the City of Bath formally elected Councillor Rob Appleyard to serve the Office of Mayor at their Annual Meeting & Election of Mayor Ceremony on Saturday 28 May 2022. Rob moved into Bath 9 years ago from Westfield, where he had represented the community on the Parish Council from 2007 for 4 years. He was elected to Bath & North East Somerset Council in 2015 and re-elected in 2019 to represent the Lambridge Ward community. The many roles Rob has served as a Councillor include Chair of Bath & North East Somerset Council in 2012/13 and Deputy Mayor of the City of Bath in 2017/18. He has always looked to put people first and has served on the boards of Citizen Advice, B&NES Carers Centre, and social landlord Curo Group (9 yrs), and is focused on addressing inequalities in our communities. Rob holds several Trustee positions, which include the B&NES Dementia Action Alliance Charity. The theme Rob has chosen for his term in Office looks to recognise the range of groups and organisations that underpin the support and opportunities that exists within our City, with a special focus on children and their voice. He looks forward to having contact with everyone through his “Roots and Canopy of Our City” theme this year. Rob is pleased to have the support of the Mayoress, his wife Amanda, and they look forward to the year ahead.

I also enjoy the richness of working 1-1 with clients in a coaching capacity and as a designer. For over two decades, I have hosted workshops in Universities, the Health Sector, and NGO's in UK and worked globally with clients like the United Nations, The Palladium Group, WaterAid, and many more. The projects we work on are aligned to developing shared meaning and purpose, improving collaboration, and focus on innovative ways to move forward. My approach integrates research and insights from multiple fields and weaves them into creative workshops, coaching and bespoke solutions. Solution-focused techniques, Living Systems approaches and storytelling underpin much of what I do. My aim always is to adapt and refine this approach so that it aligns with your hopes and aspirations. Aerial and Circus Arts Studio based in Surrey!Welcome to CirqueScape! Do you want to get stronger, meet new friends, increase your confidence, or just learn a fun new skill? Come on down and join in the fun! Whether it’s your first time trying circus classes or you’re already a seasoned pro, we’re looking forward to meeting you! The two broad disciplines in trapeze are swinging and static. Our classes are in a form of static trapeze, which means we let the trapeze hang straight down without swinging on it. Both of the ropes are rigged from the same point in our classes, meaning that the ropes and bar form a large triangle shape and the trapeze can spin freely on the rigging point. This setup is commonly referred to as a “dance trapeze” setup. Our classes focus on making shapes on the equipment and moving through sequences, gradually building your skills as you get stronger and more confident. But these sessions will also help you build relevant strength and knowledge to give you a headstart if you ever decided to give flying trapeze a go in the future. People are often surprised by how much they achieve in their first trapeze session. So if you’re not sure if you’ll have enough strength for it, why not just come down and give it a go? We’re very friendly, we have a lot of fun, and you might just surprise yourself along the way!
