I am an Addiction Specialist, an Author, Speaker, TV, Radio and Social Media personality, and respected pioneer in Addiction Consulting. I deliver life-changing material and personal expertise to shift clients towards a more fulfilling future. Through gaining personal empirical knowledge, I incorporate this experience along with research, training, and vocation in guiding those afflicted by trauma and addiction. The complexity of human behavior requires a non-prescriptive approach; I transform people's lives through mentally disbanding the cause of their pain. As a proponent of breaking free from 'the madness', I have successfully liberated numerous individuals from 'hell' so that they can lead fruitful and inspiring lives. My creation, The 'Buxy Recovery Process', will liberate thousands of people from their burdens. I am a recovered addict, an abuse victim, and above all a survivor. I talk candidly about my experiences to help others liberate themselves from the attachments to any addiction- food, drugs, sex, technology and more. I provide coaching and careers guidance. I work as a freelance consultant, based in Beckenham (in the London borough of Bromley). Here you can read more about me and how I work. For many years I worked for Kent, Surrey and Sussex Deanery, which in 2013 merged and became part of Health Education England. My work was focused on careers, training and education for the NHS. I became a careers adviser in 2009, gaining a PG Dip in Careers Education at the University of Warwick. During this period, I mainly worked with doctors, either on a 1:1 basis or in group sessions. I helped them choose their medical specialities, as well as supporting them through a competitive interview process. Since the summer of 2017 I have worked as a freelance coach and careers consultant. I provide business to business careers consultancy and also work with private clients. My private coaching clients are mainly adults, from college students to people that want to undergo a career change. I help with career choice, coaching and careers guidance to improve any aspect of work or work/life balance. I also work with people who need help and advice to set up their own businesses. How I work My philosophy is to work with clients using ‘unconditional positive regard’ as the foundation stone of my practice. Carl Rogers, a humanistic psychologist in the 1950s, first developed this as a concept. This means I work from a place of having utmost respect for my client. I work in a holistic way, which helps the client find their own learning and life and helps people who want to change. I may explore with the client: questions relating to life purpose, the quality of relationships (work and home), feelings, career and health. BPS qualified in the use of psychometric assessments, I am trained in the Type Dynamics Indicator. I am also on on the Careers Development Institute registered list of career development professionals.

As we all know, this year has been incredibly hard for individuals and businesses alike, and our club has been no exception. With the gymnasts in mind, we have looked at all of our options for continuing to offer the children the very best gymnastics provision we can, and so we are incredibly excited to announce that from the new year, your child will be a part of Nile Wilson Gymnastics. Olympian Nile Wilson is leaving a huge legacy in the world of gymnastics by opening the doors to clubs, with the goal of allowing as many children to experience gymnastics as possible, at all levels, by delivering unique and engaging activities. (If you haven’t yet – go and check out his YouTube channel!) With the Nile Wilson team comes brilliant opportunities for all the gymnasts in the club, and we can’t wait to see what the future brings. We know that you may have some questions and we’ve tried to answer some below: What changes does this mean for my child? Right now, there are no changes to the running of the club – you will see all the same familiar faces when you come in, and your class times and payments are staying the same. When is the Christmas break? Our Christmas close-down period remains the same – 19th December – 1st January. The club will re-open in January as Nile Wilson Gymnastics Coventry. All communication regarding future close-down periods will be communicated in due course. Do I need to do anything? No. All direct debits will stay in place ready for January and your child’s session time won’t change. Just have a wonderful Christmas and come back in the new year ready to go! MISSION Our mission is to reduce the risk of violence and aggression through campaigning, education and support. VISION Our vision is a society in which people are safer - and feel safer - from violence and aggression; we want people to be able to live life to the full. The Suzy Lamplugh Trust is the UK's pioneering personal safety charity and leading stalking authority, established in 1986, following the disappearance of 25-year-old Suzy Lamplugh, an estate agent and lone worker who went to meet a client and never returned. Suzy was never found and eventually declared deceased after seven years in 1993. Suzy Lamplugh Trust is widely regarded as a field expert in lone-working and personal safety training, stalking training, as well as consultancy, campaigning, and support services. It has a long history of working within the Violence Against Women and Girls sector, dealing particularly with stalking and harassment, given that it is believed, and indeed the evidence suggests Suzy may have been targeted by a stalker. The National Stalking Helpline was set up by the Trust in 2010, it has helped over 70,000 victims since its inception, and is the only service of its kind globally. The Trust exists so that what happened to Suzy does not happen to anyone else, and for over 35 years, we have worked towards reducing the risk of harassment, stalking, aggression, and violence by empowering people to take steps to avoid, mitigate or manage risks across all aspects of their life. The Trust campaigns heavily to raise greater awareness of personal safety and stalking issues, demand systemic change where needed, influence public policy, and promote a society in which people are safer and feel safer. Its longest running campaign has been the licensing of the operators and drivers of minicabs and private hire vehicles, which begun in 1998. This campaigning and policy work has been pivotal to changes in legislation and practice nationally - including in the introduction of the Protection from Harassment Act 1997, and the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012, which introduced specific offences for stalking, and the 2020 stalking protection orders.
