To the home of Construction Leaders Club Limited (CLC) and the CLC Academy. CLC was originally established to help professionals associated with the construction industry to connect, share ideas, information and best practice via live monthly events held in the Midlands region. During the past ten years individuals representing land and property developers, financial and legal professionals, design, cost and project management consultants to contractors, manufacturers and all types of suppliers of products and services to the industry have attended our live networking events. Since the onset of Covid-19 we have embraced the ‘virtual scene’ and continue to deliver all of our networking events where you can connect from wherever you please – the UK, Europe and beyond. The CLC Academy was set up out of demand from our networking activities and offers a range of professional development services for individuals from or connected to the construction industry, specifically aimed at supporting business owners, senior decision makers and their team members to grow and improve their businesses and careers. Our purpose is to help you and everyone associated with CLC to grow and develop professional networks, and build strong and mutually beneficial relationships, in order to provide each other with business leads, referrals and ultimately some business! We know this is a winning formula, as many of our regular guests have done business as a result of CLC’s marketplace. Our vision is to become the UK’s leading business growth organisation supporting businesses and individuals related to or associated with the UK Construction Industry. Our mission is to develop business owners, directors and managers of organisations involved in, or associated with, the UK construction industry to maximise their opportunities for business growth, sustainability and increased profitability.

Research is an essential part of what we do in Trinity. We are driven by a passion for research and scholarship. Our research has a fundamental influence on our teaching. Research, along with teaching, forms our identity. Research is one of the factors that makes Trinity the leading university in Ireland and a university of international standing. The research we do here in Trinity is diverse and rich. We take pride in being research active across all three of our faculties - Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences; Engineering, Maths & Science; and Health Sciences. The Trinity Campaign is built around the theme Inspiring Generations, a theme that is very apt for research as our work looks to understand the past as well as build the future. Our Research Charter provides a context for how we work. The Charter is the result of a highly consultative process that engaged people from different disciplines and divisions across Trinity. The Charter is our public commitment to the values that underpin our research. We also warmly embrace the principles set out in the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment. One of the seven principles in our Charter is ‘Standing Up for Research’. This is especially important in today’s world. We need to ensure that the neutral voice of the expert researcher is taken seriously, that research continues to be resourced, and that research continues to matter. To that end, #researchMATTERS is our research magazine and our way of sharing some of the many research stories that are part of work and life in Trinity. Our vision is to engage in research with the quality, intensity, depth, diversity, and openness that leads to fundamental breakthroughs, new understandings, key insights, and that can make translational and transformative advances.

We believe we can collectively change the music industry for the better – helping to bring about a fairer, more diverse, better educated… musically more exciting future! Higher education should have value for life and we hope your studies at LCCM will be a time of creative and cultural experimentation as well as personal development. We want to help you develop lifelong skills in communication, creative expression, collaboration and cultural understanding as well as furthering your talent, passions and personal ambitions. We believe in the Schopenhauer principle that music is the pinnacle of the arts and so at its best can be considered the highest form of human expression. So be true to yourself, whether you are an artist, entrepreneur or future executive. Be original and inventive. Your ideas and talent, if you work hard, can help bring about this exciting future. To deliver this vision we commit, wherever possible to teach: In small groups with students being supported by one-to-one tutorials With current insight from top industry professionals In a friendly, creative environment With access to industry-standard facilities and resources To the highest of academic standards With students focusing on how to collaborate and communicate effectively With exceptional skills embedded into the curriculum to ensure work-readiness for all sectors after graduation We’ve been doing this since 2002, when our founders, all professional musicians themselves, decided to launch a new college for contemporary popular music in the centre of London. The aim was to create a new approach to teaching music that mixed the best of the good universities and conservatories with an art school environment. The course that emerged embedded production with performance, establishing LCCM as the first music college where all students had to master both performance and production; a development that was increasingly evident in the music industry.
