By Kids in Museums

Making the case for working with families: Afternoon Cuppa Session (Wales)    Monday 21 October, 2.30-3.30pm    Are you making the most of the family evaluation data being collected about your museum?      About this training    This session will be particularly relevant to those who attended our July session, Capturing data and evaluating with families: Afternoon Cuppa Session (Wales). It will also be useful for anyone who wants to advocate for working with families internally to colleagues, or externally to funders or other stakeholders.    This training webinar will be led by heritage consultant Ruth McKew, who works with museums across the UK to help them develop and connect with their audiences. Ruth’s current work ranges from activity and interpretation planning to feasibility studies and audience development and evaluation, including work with small and medium sized museums in Wales.     The session will help delegates to:    advocate for families in your organisation, think about how you can share your family evaluation data more effectively to make the case for working with families in your museum, make plans to put the training into practice.   Take a look at the full schedule.    This training will be delivered virtually on Zoom over one hour.    The session will be delivered in English with bilingual slides, with an option to provide a Welsh language interpreter.     Run in partnership with the Welsh Museums Federation and generously supported by the Welsh Government    Who should attend?  This training is aimed at staff or volunteers who work in museums, galleries and heritage sites and are interested in advocating for working with families in their organisation. This webinar is for staff and volunteers from Welsh museums only.  Yr achos o blaid gweithio gyda theuluoedd: Sesiwn Paned Prynhawn (Cymru)     Dydd Llun 21 Hydref, 2.30-3.30pm     Ydych chi’n gwneud y defnydd gorau o’r data gwerthuso teuluoedd yr ydych wedi ei gasglu am eich amgueddfa?     Gair am yr hyfforddiant hwn    Bydd y sesiwn hon yn arbennig o berthnasol i’r bobl hynny a aeth i’n sesiwn fis Gorffennaf, Casglu data a gwerthuso gyda theuluoedd: Sesiwn Paned Prynhawn (Cymru). Bydd yn ddefnyddiol hefyd i unrhyw un sydd eisiau siarad yn gefnogol am weithio gyda theuluoedd yn fewnol wrth gydweithwyr, neu’n allanol wrth arianwyr neu randdeiliaid eraill.    Bydd y gweminar hyfforddi hwn wedi ei arwain gan yr ymgynghorydd treftadaeth Ruth McKew, sy’n gweithio gydag amgueddfeydd ar draws y DU i’w helpu i ddatblygu a chysylltu â’u cynulleidfaoedd.
