Description

The Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement, also known as the Level 3 CAVA Assessor course, replaces the A1 course and is considered an industry-standard qualification for people looking to assess learners for accredited courses. Previously if you wanted to train to become an assessor, you would complete the D32 and D33 units. The A1 Award replaced the D Units. Finally, the A1 Award was replaced by the current suite of qualifications, commonly referred to as TAQA (Training Assessment and Quality Assurance). Most training centres would expect you to have a CAVA assessor qualification before you start assessing in the FE and HE sectors. You are not required to have any prior qualification or experience to start this CAVA certificate, just a passion for teaching or training. This NVQ assessor course will assist you regardless of your subject expertise, whether you teach music or coach people. The awarding body of this course is Focus Awards which UK Ofqual fully accredits. The course is delivered 100% online. We will offer support to you.

Intended Audience

This level 3 certificate is suitable for industry sectors such as Hairdressing, Beauty Industry & Make Up, Engineering, Manufacturing & Construction, Early years, NHS training, Child & Health Care, Business Administration & Management, Hospitality & Catering, Oil & Gas Field, Private Security, Apprenticeships, Health & Social Care, Educational Sectors and Freelance Assessor etc.

Duration and Delivery

This course is designed to be completed online at the pace that suits you best. The fast-track level 3 CAVA course can take as little as one week or up to 4 months. This level 3 assessor qualification is delivered through our Virtual Learning Environment. Our online tutor support is there to facilitate you to achieve your success rate accordingly.

Assessment and Verification

All units within this assessment are internally assessed by our qualified assessors and externally verified by the awarding organisation. The evaluation takes the form of written assignments and demonstration of assessment skills through video recording, detailed guidance for which will be provided by the tutor.

Progression

This 100% accredited online course successfully enables learners to proceed to the Focus Awards Level 4 Certificate in Leading the IQA of Assessment Processes and Practices and the Focus Awards Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training. This level 3 assessor course will also help you enhance your career profile and become an apprenticeship assessor. This is the most thorough level 3 assessing qualification and would allow you to assess NVQ apprenticeship assessor courses and any other regulated training in your subject area.

Unit Structure

Britannia School of Academics is a UK based training provider focusing on delivering courses to education professionals. Britannia School of Academics focuses on the delivery of teaching/education qualifications and aims to develop highly-skilled education professionals through a flexible, online teaching environment. We believe that everyone is entitled to an affordable yet excellent education, so we focus on working smart to give our courses to learners at the most affordable price possible. The Britannia School of Academics aspires for excellence in education and training.

As educators ourselves, we found that often training providers lack the flexibility that suits most educators when it comes to undertaking courses. Either there is an unsuitable schedule, a lack of self-study materials, or tutors that have less knowledge about the course topics than you do. The above frustrations led to the launch of BSA- an online training provider of education and training courses with completely flexible study, great material, and knowledgeable tutor support- all at a very appealing price point.

Our staff have a wealth of experience in education and training. We pride ourselves on quality and aim to provide our learners with the best chance of further employment through free career guidance and advice.
