Description

The Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement, also known as the Level 3 CAVA Assessor course, replaces the A1 course and is considered an industry-standard qualification for people looking to assess learners for accredited courses. Previously if you wanted to train to become an assessor, you would complete the D32 and D33 units. The A1 Award replaced the D Units. Finally, the A1 Award was replaced by the current suite of qualifications, commonly referred to as TAQA (Training Assessment and Quality Assurance). Most training centres would expect you to have a CAVA assessor qualification before you start assessing in the FE and HE sectors. You are not required to have any prior qualification or experience to start this CAVA certificate, just a passion for teaching or training. This NVQ assessor course will assist you regardless of your subject expertise, whether you teach music or coach people.
