Before I discovered the life-changing magic of mindset work, I had a busy career in finance. But I felt bored and unfulfilled. It was like my life had very little meaning. Every week I would have meeting after meeting with traders and portfolio managers, and it was soul-sucking – just mind-numbingly bland. I felt dead inside. It made me question whether this is all life would ever be. Then I started exploring mindset work, and I realised this was my true calling. I quit my job in finance and started coaching women who felt just like me and who were ready to make changes to their lives. I’ve lived all over the world – half-French and half-Belgian, I was born in Tokyo, and spent my childhood in Dusseldorf, Johannesburg, Vienna and Hamburg. I studied in Boston and then moved to London. Now I live in Brighton, on the south coast of England, with my family. Everywhere I’ve lived, I’ve met women with the same problems. Feeling stuck, struggling with self-doubt, and despairing about making lasting, meaningful change to their lives. After working so hard to change my own mindset and finding success with my business, I’m passionate about helping other female business owners to grow their confidence, discover their inner power and take meaningful action. I’ve created a series of tailored courses, and I can’t wait to help you discover your best you and create a mind-blowing out of this world life that you’re totally obsessed with.

The Royal National College for the Blind (RNC) is honoured to be the UK’s leading specialist residential college of further education for people with a visual impairment. Since 1872, we have been building on our expertise and successes, which enable the College to offer a variety of products and services to a diverse audience. It’s not all about education for the 100 or so students who come through our doors each year. We also offer specialist training and support to businesses, universities and other education providers, and specialist professionals working with visually impaired people. From philanthropic beginnings in London to Shropshire, via a brief stay in Kent as World War II broke, to finally settling in Hereford, RNC has remained a beacon for people with a variety of visual impairments to increase their independence, build confidence and to learn academically, vocationally and socially. The College is proud of its 150 year history and of the pioneering work it continues to do, including sports, lobbying, work based learning and independent living skills. Partnerships with key organisations, businesses and individuals enables the student body to participate in a range of activities from Duke of Edinburgh Awards to national elite sports events – amazing experiences that students tell us really add to and change their lives. RNC is also home to community and commercial enterprises, each of which stems from and feeds back into the students’ learning experience. Please visit the pages on Our Services for more information, as well as finding out what our charitable fundraising aims are in the Supporting RNC section of the website.

Nottingham

I am delighted to introduce you to the Nottingham Girls’ Academy website. At Nottingham Girls’ Academy, we strive to fulfil everyone’s learning potential within a kind, nurturing and inclusive environment. We value high standards, hard work and a ceaseless desire to improve. But, most importantly, we enjoy the journey together. Research shows that a single sex environment empowers girls to realise their potential. We foster a caring, supportive and happy environment which encourages our girls to flourish. In terms of behaviour, uniform and Academy standards we are very traditional and have high expectations. We expect pupils to wear the full Academy uniform correctly, attend well, behave respectfully to others and to work hard. We also believe that education is more than just academic success and aim to develop the whole person. Our curriculum nurtures the development of qualities and skills alongside the acquisition of knowledge. It is broad and balanced, develops ‘cultural capital’ with enrichment activities and is complimented by a wide range of extra-curricular activities and events, which we encourage all girls to take part in. I regard being the Principal of Nottingham Girls’ Academy as a personal and professional privilege and, along with my staff, I am committed to ensuring the future for our students is bright and full of promise. I hope you find our website interesting and informative. If you would like any further information please do not hesitate to contact us or arrange a visit.
