Developmental stages of children and developing activities for 0-12 year olds   Thursday 6 June, 10am-12.30pm   Do you want to know more about how children learn and play at different ages to inform how you create family activities in your museum?    About this training   This training webinar will be led by cultural heritage learning consultant Anna Salaman. She has thirty years’ experience immersed in the arts, heritage and cultural sectors, specialising in learning and participation, creativity and play. Anna has worked with organisations around the world including ArtScience Museum (Singapore), Discover Children’s Story Centre, the Science Museum, the Natural History Museum, and the V&A.   The session will help delegates to: * learn about the developmental stages of children, ages 0-12, * gain an understanding of different facilitation styles to build confidence when interacting with children of different age groups, * explore the five types of play and facilitating play, * make plans to put the training into practice in their organisation.   Take a look at the full schedule. This training is aimed at staff who work in museums, art galleries and heritage sites and are interested in developing your knowledge and understanding of the developmental ages and stages of children to inform how you create activities for families.  Please note:  We have reached the maximum number of Student and Freelancer tickets available for this session. Intermediate/Advanced Lindy Hop class for experienced dancers! The class will kick off with footwork and partnered drills for connection & frame followed by building better basics. The second half of the class will focus on one topic which will vary from week to week and allow plenty of time for supervised practice and feedback.

Over the course of this weekend with classes running from 9am to 4pm each day we will develop the fundamental skills to take you into the the ancient Daosit process of Nei Gong using the tools of the Ji Ben Qi Gong set. This will be an intensive weekend that will transfer to you the knowledge and skills to begin a proper exploration of the internal arts and the transfomational journey of mind, body and soul it can take you on.  The course will run from 9am to 4pm each day and be taught by Jaemie, who is a recognised Qi Gong instructor under the banner of Lotus Nei Gong International and who has close to a decade of experience in the internal arts and over 30 years in the eastern arts in general.  We have a friendly and welcoming group training on a regular basis and you are more than welcome to join us for some practice.
