1 DAY PAPER PRINTING WORKSHOP £75.00 The perfect introduction to paper screen printing, our beginner workshop is ideal for anyone interested in learning the complete screen printing process or simply looking to print an edition with their own design for a special occasion. The sessions will run from 10am – 4pm with a 1 hour break for lunch, a great opportunity to sample one of the many food kiosks located on levels 5 and 6 of the building. The day will be split as follows: Morning After a short intro into the studio and the process you’ll guided through how to coat and expose your design onto your screen. Afternoon After lunch we’ll cover ink mixing and the process of setting up the paper bed ready for printing. When the screens are dry everyone will have a go at printing.  Outcome You will take away x10 A3 Prints all printed with your one colour design all created by you. — To book please scroll through the calendar and click the available date (highlighted in green) that you’d like to attend. Its peony season, Chelsea Flower show is underway and London is in bloom! What better way to celebrate the season by creating a beautiful bouquet of gorgeous peonies. Come join me in the studio at West 16th SE21 where we will learn the art of building a beautiful hand-tied bouquet of the best seasonal flowers. Mix a gorgeous selection of flowers, fillers and foliage using the 'spiralling' technique used by the pros. We will be chatting through peony varieties, how to get the most out of them and sharing lots of flower hacks, tips and tricks along the way. We finish by tying, wrapping and presenting and you'll leave with your floral creation to enjoy at home and the ability to do it all again. The workshop will be held in the studio of West 16th, SE21 who will supply drinks and snacks included within the workshop price.

The Beginners Woodworking Workshop is a one day course where you will learn to make a bread board in just a few hours!

1 DAY FABRIC PRINTING WORKSHOP £75.00 The perfect introduction to fabric screen printing, our beginner workshop is ideal for anyone interested in learning the complete screen printing process or simply looking to print some tea towels or cushion covers with their own design for a special occasion. The sessions will run from 10am – 4:00pm (subject to class size) with a 30 min break for lunch. The day will be split as follows: Morning After a short intro into the studio and the process you’ll guided through how to coat and expose your design onto your screen. Afternoon After lunch we’ll decide on colours and select print pastes and go through the process of setting up the fabric tables ready for printing. When the screens are dry everyone will have a go at printing their fabric. Each person will walk away with 1 metre of fabric printed with their own 1 or 2 colour design. The session will be focused on the creation and personalisation of rings and pendants and led by Stööki's jewellery technologist Nadia Abbas. In this workshop you will: Get an insight in to the jewellery making process Receive a wax ring or pendant template to customise with your own design Get a tutorial covering a range of jewellery making techniques The aim is to have a finished wax master at the end of the workshop that can be taken home, but there is also the option of turning your personalised wax ring or pendant into a finished jewellery piece.
