Come to a one off class just for a day, or join our regular weekely classes and learn the skills you need to create your own designs.  Our tutors have many years of experience in making jewellery, teaching and also running thier own jewellery businesses. We have courses that will suit total beginners and courses where we can teach you to advance your skills.  We also offer buisness coaching and one to one skills sessions for people who want to take thier start a jewellery business or take thier business or to the next level.

I am passionate about making the craft of bookbinding fun and accessible. I'm particularly inspired by nature and working with remnant materials, transforming what might otherwise end up in landfill, into unique and usable books. Online workshops and kits, in-person classes and commissions.

Stööki is a movement that began in 2011 in London.  We design, produce and curate. Interpreting our multidisciplinary philosophy of Art, Music and Fashion through the three Stööki elements that are Sound, Vision and Play. We present themed hand-crafted jewellery collections through interactive art and immersive events. The #StookiMovement promotes co-creation and audience participation through evolving themes inspired by youth culture. As each collection evolves, we give you a chance to experience the Stööki lifestyle through a series of art forms and curated events. Our Jewellery-Making Workshops Join lifestyle and jewellery label Stööki as they host their monthly Jewellery-Making Workshops. The session will be focused on the creation and personalisation of rings and pendants and led by Stööki's Jewellery Technologist Nadia Abbas Stööki's creative director, Luke Hippolyte, you will learn step-by-step how to craft your very own template for a personalised wax jewellery piece ready for casting.

The Savile Row Bespoke Academy (SRBA) is one of the leading tailoring schools in the world. Its objective is to protect, enhance and develop the value of bespoke tailoring by training aspiring tailors to the highest attainable standards. The Academy, which is located on the famous Savile Row, opened its doors to students on 8th January 2008. It provides a unique opportunity for persons wanting to acquire the high level knowledge, skills and experience needed for employment in established tailoring houses around the world or to establish their own businesses. The SRBA course is a flexible modular programme and comprises four advanced study modules in pattern cutting, fitting and remarking; waistcoat making; trouser making; and coat/jacket making. Upon completion of this training, graduates will have the skills needed to secure gainful employment in the tailoring sector, including on Savile Row. Students who complete all four modules are awarded a Bespoke Tailor's Certificate from the Savile Row Bespoke Academy.

After 25 years in the NHS, for the last 7 years I have had a new career as a glass artist and small business owner and all that entails. My husband, Chris, is a potter and we are enjoying running our businesses side by side! We live in Worcester and can often be found at art and craft shows and galleries, taking opportunities to meet other designer-makers in the area. Most weekends we either have classes or have stalls at an art & craft market somewhere in the Midlands. I am loving sharing my passion for all things glassy with other people and we have great fun with our combined courses with whole day courses including lunch.

Have you always wanted to learn how to weave?  Sarah Ward, Founder of Lark & Bower offers a variety of online weaving workshops including 'off-loom weaving', rock weaving, paper weaving and also darning and visible mending. 'Off-Loom' weaving is essentially weaving without a loom, around found objects like wood, tiles or rocks, using needle and thread.  It's brilliant for first time weavers, as it helps us to understand the basics of woven structure, without the added complexity of the loom. These workshops are suitable for all ages and all levels, from total beginner, to seasoned weavers - so if you're thinking of taking up weaving, or just looking for a new direction to take your craft, these workshops are a great place to start! The main focus of the workshop is the simple twill, and from there, we'll try a dogtooth, and even a check! We'll play with colour, texture and pattern and discover the magic of weaving. It's simpler than it looks! As an environmental activist, the main focus of Sarah's work is to share knowledge through craft. She uses her woven work to advocate weaving as an art form, encouraging the learning and passing on of skills in traditional crafts, keeping the ancient craft alive but also raising awareness about waste and the impact of fast fashion on our planet.

Aliss trained in Fashion Design and Pattern Cutting at Art School, has worked alongside designers in London and made stage costumes for theatres in Brighton & Chichester. She's also taken courses in Lantern Building and Banner Making. Aliss has a bright and fully equipped sewing studio, The Stitchery at The Welsh Mill and offers Sewing Courses, Making Workshops and Individual Tuition. She has been teaching since 2000 and is based in Frome, Somerset. Aliss has a Level 4 City and Guilds Tutor Qualification and Enhanced DBS

Hi, I'm Stephie (not Fred), An embroidery artist and creative based in Manchester. I'm inspired by the natural and the man(chester) made, and passionate about encouraging others to explore and express their creativity. I LOVE running workshops and sharing the joy of stitching and creating with others. I want people to leave a Hoop & Fred workshop feeling better than when they walked in and empowered to create. Maybe they’ll fall head over heels with embroidery as I did, or perhaps they will simply feel better for having spent a couple of hours trying their hand at something arty and leave feeling confident enough to try other new things.  All my workshops are suitable for beginners. I  ensure everyone gets the time they need to ask questions, and they leave with all the materials and knowledge required to finish their project at home.
