From holding the hook to following a pattern, make your first projects as you learn all the essentials with crochet expert Debbie! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Enjoy three sessions learning all the crochet essentials! Debbie will teach you all you need to know to get started with your first crochet projects. Sessions are on 3 consecutive Thursdays and the course fee is the total for all 3 sessions including materials. You'll make 3 small, fun projects, each one specifically designed to allow you to practice your skills as you learn. No crochet skills are required - Debbie will be starting right at the beginning. Have some experience or returning to crochet? This course is also a great refresher. What you will learn: * Making a slipknot * Making a foundation chain (and what one is!) * Slipstitch * Double crochet * Treble crochet * Increasing * Decreasing * Making a simple square (granny square) * Reading crochet charts and patterns * Finishing and seaming * Tension (gauge) and why it matters * Tips and tricks for avoiding common mistakes (and how to fix them!)
