1/2 Day Pasta


Enjoy a day discovering the staples of Italian cooking

Tutor: Jenny Thomson

On this half day, hands on course, Jenny will be showing you how to make your own pasta, tortellini, ravioli, gnocci and focaccia. You will make your own pasta dough from scratch, learn how to use and care for a pasta machine, shape your fresh pasta and make your own tortellini & ravioli.  You will also learn how to make your own gnocci, plus focaccia with a choice of toppings. The types of dishes you will be making include:

  • Gnocci with Sage Butter
  • Ricotta, Lemon & Herb Tortellini
  • Ravioli Napoletana with Homemade Tomato Sauce
  • Focaccia

Skills covered: Making & shaping pasta, tortellini, ravioli, gnocci and focaccia

Course times: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Includes all ingredients, refreshments, light lunch & recipe sheets. All you have to bring are containers to take home what you've made.

This course can also be adapted for vegetarian diets.
