Coulsdon Manor Hotel

I had the pleasure of staying at Coulsdon Manor Hotel recently, and I wanted to share my positive review. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The decor was modern and stylish, and the amenities were fantastic. We had a golf break deal for 8 of us. Although the property is in need of some updating we found it to be good value for money. In particular the staff were all friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the food was good. No complaints given the price. We enjoyed our 2 rounds of golf but because of the time of year it was a bit muddy underfoot. Not the best course we have played on but enjoyable nevertheless and lovely parkland setting. Staff were friendly and accommodated 11pm arrival. Bed was comfy, location is quiet. Shower has consistent temperature and good water pressure. Bathroom cleanliness was good, and cleaners gave us a friendly greeting which was appreciated. Grand building but it is dated (maybe 80s decor), YPFWYG. Lovely and well kept grounds, looks like a great place for a round of golf. Would stay again, no complaints.

The hotel was very clean, although a little dated with it’s room decor- particularly the bathrooms. The food was lovely and staff were very accommodating. Some of the golfers were exceptionally rude however and shouted abuse at me and my father when walking down the road to my Grandmothers funeral. Had an overnight stay here. Staff were all helpful and friendly. The room was too hot as there is no air conditioning. Room was fairly clean, bed had some staining on the side, and the picture on the wall had water damage. Overall just a bit tired looking, in need of a bit of money spent on sorting the basics out. But it wouldn’t put me off staying there again if I needed to.
