Cotswolds Hotel, Golf & Spa

Staff are really welcoming and helpful. We were upgraded to a room overlooking the golf course. Setting is very good - a great place to base yourself for exploring the Cotswolds. However, this is not a 4 star level hotel - it is definitely more 3 star. The apartment furniture is dated and there is no cohesive interior design - furniture sizes are disproportionate to the size of the room. We used the Cotswolds Hotel for our company Christmas party in December 2022. They were a wonderful venue and I thoroughly recommend them. In the run up to the event they accommodated all of our requests (even last minute ones) and on the day itself, the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

We stayed at the Cotswold Hotel and Spa for my partners birthday as we were travelling from Derbyshire in so that he could have a round of golf on the beautiful course there. Upon arrival, we were told our room was ready and that they had upgraded us to a junior suite free of charge for the night which was brilliant. We stayed in one of the golf facing studio rooms. The room itself was absolutely great. We were pleased that we had access to a hob, cooker and all the kitchen equipment. The showers were also great, very Modern and clean. I didn't interact much with the rest of the hotel/ restaurant but the reception staff seemed friendly enough and the gym looked good. Stayed there for the last 3 days in a group of 14 golfers. We had a great time. Hotel staff were very friendly and the food excellent. Rooms were very nice with a small balcony overlooking the course. Golf course was fine and we intend to visit again. The only down side was the pro shop. Staff were unhelpful and didn’t seem at all interested in us as a society. I would recommend the hotel and course to anyone
