Coombe Wood Golf Club

The coombe wood golf club house is very friendly , great food , lovely staff .will definitely be going back .

This course is in excellent condition this summer. The greens are very smoothe and the track is very forgiving as designed as a Par 66 course. I’m not a fan however of how so many holes cross over each other- I find this ruins the pace of play and dangerous while crossing a hole when someone is striping a ball down the fairway you need to walk across to get to the next hole. I understand that there is limited space to work with as a course designer but these intricacies do make a difference. ...

Played here today on a society, great, testing course, the clubhouse is very friendly, great food,lovely staff, well stocked pro shop with an excellent pro Phil, really helpfull, we will definitely be going back, cant fault the place

Good little course this. First time I've played it and they have obviously done a lot of work on the bunkers particularly on the first 10 holes and they are excellent. Very friendly staff. Something went wrong with my booking as it was for the day before but the guy in the Pro shop was a legend and accepted our booking and squeezed us in so 10/10 from him. Looking forward to going around that lovely little course again soon

This course is compact but good to play. Our January round was boggy on back 9 but okay considering the amount of recent rain. Met the General Manager who was extremely welcoming. Worth a visit and convenient if you live near Kingston town.
