Coombe Stables Ltd - Horse Riding In The New Forest

We had an amazing time. The staff greeted us by our names and gave us the information of our horses. We had a lovely ride out, beautiful scenery and fantastic staff. I was very nervous but the staff stayed with me the whole time. We had a lovely experience as beginners. The only thing I would say is maybe from some of the higher horses the beginners may need the steps to get off. But we loved every minute.

My friends and I had the most AMAZING time! Horse riding price was very reasonable. All staff are extremely friendly and warm. They were very professing and informative about the hoses and surrounding areas. My horse was called Jeffro, he was lovely and made my first horse riding experience a less nervous and a great memorable one. The unexpected relaxing ride out of the stables in convoy was enjoyable. Wow! What an absolutely lovely time we had on a Forest Walking Hack at Coombe Stables. We were greeted by our names by the very friendly and welcoming Geoff. Our reputation obviously preceded us 😀 Geoff explained to us how it all worked and before we knew it we were saddled up and ready to go. Joe was our guide and he was absolutely superb. Took my two daughters (6/9) for a gentle ride out. Staff were incredibly welcoming (greeted me by my name, and knew girls names - really nice touch), and ride itself was very enjoyable. Horses seemed very well cared for and addition of a family of pigs in the yard was a bonus! Booking could have been a little easier - took a few goes to get through by phone. We visited on my birthday for a private hack and the experience couldn’t of been any better. Amazing people that couldn’t be any more helpful and informative. The member of staff the took us out was very interactive which made the whole experience 100 times better. We will definitely be back when we next visit the New Forest. Thank you so much 😃
